Mostly solid punching bag. The only reason for 4/5 is that the suction cups are not to strong. It may be our epoxy floor though. Overall a great addition to your home gym. Good quality!

The bag does arrive in two separate packages delivered at different times. One of my packages were unfortunately lost in transit but the sellers were very helpful in reissuing me another one. I ordered this in November and got the first part of the order shortly after. I waited a week and never got the second package. So I reached out to the seller and they were very prompt with getting everything sorted out. FedEx had it stalled at one of their locations and the sellers made sure they got it moving again. Received the second package a few days later. As for the bag itself, I have 150lbs of sand in the base, and it stays up pretty well. I have only knocked it over once with an especially hard punch just to see if I could. All in all, seems to be a good product with great customer service. ... show more

The bag itself once put together does the job well but the packaging of this product and quality assurance is too sketchy for me to ever recommend it, and I bought the more expensive model of this bag. The box was so thin and lacked any support for the bag part. As a result one end of it was completely torn off in the shipping process leaving anything to be able to fall out. Even worse was that that end had the shipping label so had that been lost my bag would have been lost in the mail. Of course I have no doubt fedexs inn ability to ship a box without it looking like Brock Lesnar had his way with it is the primary issue with this, but the company should also know to at the very least use a thicker cardboard or enough tape, possibly even staples, to ensure the items will not be able to beat up the box so bad. Once I brought the box inside a nut fell out which at first had me worried that there was a bag of screws and stuff that had come loose and had been possibly lost in shipping due to the box, meaning I’d have to return it, but that wasn’t the case. It was instead the the screws and nuts that are clearly preinstalled and attatched the hydraulic and spring system were not at all properly tightened. The one that fell out had come completely off and another one was about one twist away from the same fate. The rest, although they looked like they were on all the way, were extremely loose and it just shows that there’s little care put into the quality assurance of this products construction. The base came in the same day and in good shape, I had no problems with its shipping. What I did have a problem with though is how upon unscrewing the bad to fill it I was met with a strong smell of dead fish. I get that plastic products often smell pretty bad, but this was the worst I’ve ever experienced and was so bad I could smell it from outside the room. Luckily it lost most of the scent after spraying it out and once the cap is put back in the base it hides the smell completely, but just know that that’s something you will have to deal with when filling this up. Overall after constructing the bag it works as expected and I haven’t had any functionality issues yet, however with how low the quality assurance is with this I don’t think it’s safe to say that you can order this knowing that it won’t have issues, as it very clearly does. Personally I would recommend looking at another brand as there are plenty of options out there at a similar price point. Also another thing I forgot to mention is this bag is not short people friendly. Luckily im fairly tall but I couldn’t imagine anyone of a shorter stature wanting to throw any kicks on this bag. ... show more

    • Best Indoor Heavy Bag Solution. The hype is real.

I have had a few stand up bags and heavy bags and been to many mma & boxing gyms and have a good feel for a lot of different styles of bags. Stand up bags usually have that unsatisfying impact and you can't really hit them hard without them rolling around and migrating them from where you placed it. Other stand up bags I've had were also bulky and filled with water and still don't feel satisfying to hit. It's nice the bag is pretty stable and doesn't move around as much and can even go on hardwood floor without scratching it if you use the suctions cups. Prefect for any indoor use. This bag has that nice impact and weight to it because the springs absorb the shock, the texture is pretty hard, and bag doesn't move very far so its almost like hitting a heavy bag. I'm only using suction cups on a smooth surface and it is enough to hold it down and throw a pretty good punch. I'm 210 pounds and been doing mma for about 10 years so it can take a decent hit. Some people complain about knocking it down and they are under 150lbs; this is because they don't know how to throw a punch and they are pushing the bag. A punch is a like a whip and you release at the sweet spot for maximum impact so if your pushing something it wont hurt as much. When people fall from a push they dont get hurt but when you fall from a punch its not from a push its from impact and trauma to the chin. Which brings me to my cons. If you push the bag or put your weight into it from a kick or flying knee then you will pull it off the floor. For this you will have to fill it with sand. It also seems if you grab the top of the bag it might bend over time, I have no proof yet though. Some kicks will knock down the bag because kicks are suppose to try and cut through an object and not just release on impact. If you throw a tip kick from a distance like your supposed too it will work perfectly but if you a kick to the middle it will go down. It seems to be stable for headkicks and leg kicks though. I wouldn't kick the bag too hard but you can go fast enough to get impact and it can take it. Save your power kicks for the 200lb bags at the gym and get your workout and technique on this bag. This is the perfect in home bag though the hype is real. ... show more
