A Compact Device that Brings a Lot of Heat

The DREO 360° circular whole room heater is a pretty impressive little device that provides a lot of heat and can do it in a quiet and unintrusive manner. It pulls cool air from the bottom and funnels it out the narrower top, in all 360 degrees, which is great because no matter what side you are facing, you’re getting heat. One of the things the pictures don’t really convey very well is how esthetically pleasing its design is in the form of the ambient RGB light. It really adds a nice touch, making any room you place it in feel cozy and warm. The control panel was easy to figure out and work, even without looking at the instructions. We placed it in a 25x10 foot room, which is on the upper end of its specified capability, but it did just fine. You can turn it on, set a desired temperature, and forget about it. The unit will adjust its fan speed and output when it reaches the set temperature. It remembers your settings, so the next time you power it up, it’s ready to go. No need to fiddle with the settings. Because of its small, compact size, we have carried it off to different rooms we might be working in for the day, like our home office or den. The carrying strap at the back is really handy for transporting it. It’s only 13 inches tall, and the base is less than 9 inches at the floor. We only noticed this other feature a few days ago, and now, I realize it does mention it on the product page, but the remote, which is very convenient, also glows in the dark. We have pets, and they can get a bit rambunctious at times, so we were concerned about them knocking this heater over. Likewise, we tested the safety tip-over feature, and it worked exactly as expected by shutting the unit down. I would highly recommend the DREO 360° circular whole room heater to friends and family for its fast heat, smart design, and gorgeous and easy-to-use controls.

Small Heater, Big Difference

As some one who is perpetually cold, I’ve gone through my fair share of space heaters, and this one has been one of the best by far. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t take up much room, but it puts out a surprising amount of heat. And it’s quiet while running. There’s a soft fan sound in the background, but it’s more relaxing than distracting, like white noise. The 360° heating is probably my favorite feature. Instead of having to position the heater toward you, it sends warm air around the room, so you can feel the heat from different directions, you don't have to wait for it to spin towards you like the oscillating ones. That makes it especially nice when more than one person is in the room. It’s also a really good looking little appliance. The RGB lighting gives it a modern feel and adds a warm, cozy atmosphere at night. Honestly, it looks much nicer sitting in a room than most space heaters I’ve used. Using it is pretty straightforward. The display and controls are easy to understand, and I was able to get everything set up without spending much time with the manual. Pick your temperature, turn it on, and let it do its thing. Once the room reaches the selected temperature, the heater adjusts itself rather than constantly running at full power. I also like that it remembers the previous settings. The remote is another feature I’ve been using more than I expected. It’s nice not having to get up every time I want to change the temperature or turn the heater off. Moving it around is easy, too. There’s a strap built into the back that makes carrying it from one room to another much more convenient. It feels like a small detail, but it’s definitely useful if you move the heater around frequently. And, of course, the automatic shutoff if it gets tipped over is reassuring. I appreciate having that extra safety feature, particularly in a busy household where a heater could accidentally get knocked over. All in all, this has been a great little heater for adding some extra warmth without taking over the room. It heats well, operates quietly, looks good, and has some thoughtful features that make it easy to live with. I’m very happy with it, I love devices and appliances that are intuitive and easy to use.

Impressed With the Features and Safety Controls So Far

I ordered the DREO Whole Room Heater for Indoor Use, 360˚ Omni-directional Heat, 25dB Quiet | ECO & 3 Heat Settings, Thermostat, Digital Display, Overheating & Tip-Over Protection, 12H Timer, Remote Control, Bedroom, Office for the coldest bedroom in my house. Even with the heat on during the winter, that particular room stays cold, so I'm hoping this will help make it more comfortable. Since it's still hot where I live, I haven't been able to test how well it heats an entire cold room yet. I have tested the heater itself, though, and I'm impressed with it so far. It starts putting out warm air pretty quickly, feels like excellent quality, and seems very sturdy and well made. The fan isn't overly loud either. I specifically tested the tip-over protection, and it worked as expected. When I tipped the heater over, it gave a small warning sound and then shut itself off after roughly 30 seconds. I included a video showing my test. I also checked how hot the heater felt while running because I have a young granddaughter in the house. The exterior of my unit did not feel hot to the touch during my test. I also placed my hand near the area where the warm air comes out. The air there was definitely quite warm, but it wasn't painful against my hand during my test. I included that in my video as well. Of course, I still wouldn't allow a child to touch or play around a running space heater. There are a lot of features I appreciate, including the remote control, timer, thermostat, different heat settings, and especially the child lock. The child lock is easy to engage and disengage, and that's a feature we'll definitely be using. I can't fairly judge its whole-room heating ability until the weather gets cold, so I may have more to say about that later. Based on everything I've been able to test so far, though, I'm very happy with the quality, heat output, noise level, controls, and safety features. I'm looking forward to using it in that cold bedroom this winter.

Efficient, quiet, feature rich, and good looking!

I am a huge fan of Dreo products! I have loved every product I own by them so I was very excited to have the chance to order this whole room heater. Our winters in southern Arizona are mild but there are still many nights in December and January that get cold enough to turn on my HVAC system. The problem is that it warms up enough during the day to make it a constant battle to maintain a comfortable temperature in the house. Last year I purchased an electric fireplace for my living room and one for my bedroom as an alternative to heating up the whole house. They work very well and I’m thankful I got them, but there were still times when they weren’t quite enough and I wished I had a safe, portable space heater that could be easily moved from room to room as needed. Now, thanks to Dreo, I have the perfect one and it’s everything I could have wanted and more! Like my other Dreo products, this space heater is feature rich and has an emphasis on safety features. It can be scary to trust a space heater but I have no concerns with this one as it has great built in safety features. Unsolicited advice: don’t leave any space heater unattended or plugged in when you aren’t using it, no matter the brand! This Dreo heater has tip over protection as well as overheating protection for peace of mind. It also has a little handle on the back so you are able to safely move it wherever you need it without risk of burning yourself. I love the intelligence and ease of the ECO mode! You set the temperature you want your room to be (from 41-95°F) and this awesome little heater automatically selects low or high power (900W or 1500W), depending on the difference between the temperature you’ve chosen and the ambient temperature in the room. When it reaches the temperature you set it to, the heater will automatically turn off in 30 seconds. How cool, simple, and foolproof is that!? If you need another reason to love it, in addition to the LED temperature display on the heater, it also has an additional color LED indicator that allows you see the ambient temperature conditions even from across the room! There is also the option of Power Heat Mode which can be set to one of 3 heating levels: H1 (900W), H2 (1300W), or H3 (1500W). All of them are quiet enough that they can be used while watching tv, sleeping, or even on the phone or video call. Regardless of which mode you prefer, the heater works so well and so quickly! It has a circular air outlet that disperses the heat evenly in a 𝟯𝟲𝟬° pattern and pushes that heat as far as 9 1/2 feet per second! And it only takes 2 seconds to heat up the ceramic system and begin warming up your environment! The remote is so easy to use and is a quick and easy way to access all the features. There is even a mute button if you don’t want to hear the beep that occurs when you adjust settings. This can also be accessed on the screen, like all the other features. There is a timer that can be set from 0-12 hours. The heat turns off automatically when the timer ends. There is even a child lock for even more peace of mind! In addition to so many great features, this heater is attractive as well. Maybe that isn’t a big deal, but it really stands out as being so different from every other space heater I’ve seen. The design makes it unobtrusive if you keep it out all the time without looking like a clunky appliance. It looks modern and sleek in addition to working very well and being completely user friendly, efficient, and safe! On top of all of that, the price is phenomenal at only $79.99 (at the time I ordered mine). What more could anyone want in a space heater?

A DREO quality Whole Room Heater

I have previously purchased a humidifier and a smart fan from DREO and have always been impressed. This DREO whole room heater is as impressive as any of the DREO items I have purchased. First off -it is not ugly. I realize this is not important to most but I live in a small condo and needed something non-obtrusive and fairly attractive. I do not find it overly large. Every Fall I have to power through a few weeks without heat since my condo association doesn’t turn on the boiler until late October. The heat output of this DREO whole room heater should help with this. The ancient boilers also break down quite a bit, so I am sure I will get a lot of use out of this heater. I love that it includes a remote control, so I can lounge in my recliner and adjust the heat as necessary. I am also surprised by how quiet this is. I could use this in my bedroom at night without disturbing my sleep. My bathroom lacks heat vents or radiators so I plan to use it while I take a shower (well away from water, of course). The heater is easy to set up and control. Worked right out of the box. It is currently late summer here in Denver so I haven’t had a chance to heat a whole room with it yet, but I can tell the output will be adequate to heat the living room of my 542sf condo. I love the RGB lighting feature. I also appreciate that it heats in a 360 radius, which will help warm up a room quickly. I have an inquisitive cat and a rambunctious dog so I needed a heater that has an automatic tip-off feature and that wouldn’t get hot. I probably wouldn’t leave it running unattended but it feels safe.

A great heater to have ready before the cold weather hits.

Even though it’s still summer, it can get surprisingly cold here, so I like to get things ready before I actually need them. I wanted a heater that could warm up a decent-sized room without taking up a lot of space, and this one looks like it will be a great addition for the colder months. The 360-degree air outlet is a nice feature because the heat isn’t just blowing in one direction, and the three heat settings make it easy to adjust the amount of warmth depending on how cold the room is. The controls are straightforward, and I really like having both the touch controls and the included remote. Being able to adjust the temperature or turn on the timer without getting up is going to be especially convenient when using it in the bedroom or while sitting in the living room. The temperature can be adjusted in small one-degree increments, and the ECO mode is a nice option when I want to maintain a comfortable temperature without having the heater running harder than necessary. The compact design also makes it easy to find a place for it without it becoming an eyesore. The safety features are another big plus for me. Having overheat protection and automatic shutoff if the unit gets tipped over gives me much more confidence about using it around the house. I also appreciate that it operates quietly, since a loud heater can get annoying when you’re trying to sleep, work, or watch TV. The built-in ambient light is a nice little extra as well. Overall, I’m very happy with this heater. It feels well designed, has plenty of useful features, and should be more than capable of keeping a room comfortable when the temperatures drop. I’d much rather have a good heater ready to go before winter arrives than be scrambling to find one when the first cold snap hits. For the size, features, controls, and safety functions, this is a five-star heater for me.

Love the Thermostatic Control, Thermostat is Very Accurate, Throws Heat in All Directions

This room heater has numerous great features and qualities! I have owned many room heaters, and this one is the best so far. - I especially like that I can set the heater to a specific temperature and then the heater will automatically cycle on and off to maintain that temperature. - As shown in my photo, I compared the heater's thermostat to my portable thermometer, and they matched exactly; so the heater's thermostat is very accurate. - I really appreciate the addition of a remote. My husband (who is always cold) can sit in his recliner and use the remote to turn the heater on or off, to adjust the temperature, etc. The heater can be operated right from the front of the unit if you prefer using the flat, touch control buttons. . - The heater throws out heat in all directions, so works well sitting in the middle of a room and keeping the whole room warm. The cord is about 75 inches long (just over 6 ft), so works well for that purpose. (I have had heaters that oscillate, and heaters that only throw out heat in one direction - and this circular heater works much better at heating the whole room.) - The outside of the unit does not get hot. - The instructions that come with the heater are informative, but short. The full 13-page manual, which goes into more detail, can be obtained by scanning the QR code from the instruction sheet, or by visiting the DREO website. (Which is not a user-friendly thing if you are giving this to an elderly person who doesn't use a computer or a smart phone.) As stated in the ad, this heater is best suited for rooms that are from 160 - 270 square feet (so, for example: rooms that are 12' x 13', up to rooms that are 15' x 18'). I am using it in a room that is 9.5 ft wide and 20 ft long and it is doing a good job of keeping the room warm. I am very impressed with the sleek look, the quality, and the performance of this heater.

If you need a space heater this is a good one!

This heater looks like it could be a cute little droid from Star Wars. It’s gotten a little cooler so we turned it on and noticed how quiet it was. The omni directional feature means you don’t have to huddle close together to get warm- you can circle around like a campfire with no smoke. This will be good to use in an upstairs bedroom/office that gets hot in the summer but the heat never makes it up in the winter months. The timer makes it worry free if you leave the room and forget to shut it down. The remote control is simple and intuitive to use. When you do shut it down it has a 30 second cool down cycle. Lightweight but stable enough to help prevent knocking it over, it does shut off if that would happen. There are three different heat levels to meet the needs of the room. Looking forward to winter to be able to use it.
