I don't know how it stacks up to other modern units. That said, the tip-over protection is nice, as is the auto-off feature. It heats well enough for my chilly office/guest-room, the oscillation is handy, and it's not all that noisy. It does make noise, but it's not as loud as my old unit, and the "white noise" it generates is unobtrusive. The controls are east to figure out, though I think I'd rather have mechanical buttons than the modern touch-style controls. I haven't tried the remote, but it seems simple enough. I tend to set it up to automatically do what it can to keep the room at a specific temperature. As such, it turns on, heats the room, then turns off. This repeats as necessary. Seems useful. No strange smells, no hot spots, no danger of melting nearby items, and no stability issues. Probably not the best overall, but definitely no weak spots - especially for the money.

This is the best space heater I have ever owned. If it’s cool in my house in the morning, I put it on high and within 15 minutes I have to shut it off. That’s how quickly it heats up the room. My house is newly built and I have 24 inch ceilings in my living room and the room heats up quickly with this heater. No need to buy a larger one or smaller. The price for this was well worth it. It has a nice shape style and color and when it’s heating your room, it has a swing so it moves back-and-forth. I highly recommend this item works so well .

This heater is the truth zid bought it when my friend's heater had gone out and I'd purchased this one not knowing anything about DREO products. It really kept me warm in the room I was renting at that time. Now I've moved into my own one bedroom apartment it actually kept my WHOLE apartment comfortably warm! At the price I'd purchased I felt like it was a steal! It's very quiet and I was very comfortable running it all night at ease. The highest temperature I used was around 70 degrees if that on H2! I was so happy with this product I'd even purchased another heater that was a tower in case my little champion heater needs more help on heating my apartment on colder days & night the lowest so far It's gotten is 43 (2024) so time will tell. I am just now reviewing this heater in 2024 sorry so late but I do high recommend this product for a small or even a large space.
