Installed myself in less than an hour. Tools needed: socket set, measuring tape, scissors or sharp cutting blade. New design is more taught, sheds water better, and beveled side bars make sealing edges easier. Put one on a 5'8" Ram, then bought another for a 6'6" GMC. Still using my original Tuxedo on my 2007 Silverado plow truck, so the product will last. That is why I bought from Truxedo, proven quality. The only, minor, draw back with the cover is that the tailgate must be down to close. The tension is to much to push down if the tailgate is up (closed), but it makes for a tighter top which keeps water from pooling. This was definitely a smart purchase. ... show more

Easy to install, and fits mostly ok. Very small leak, and slightly too small width wise. Also, with a power release lift gate, the weather stripping above the tailgate provides enough resistance to prevent the tailgate from releasing remotely. It fits, looks great on the truck. Will take a little adjusting to get it just right, nothing to difficult. Just installed 5/25/25, will have to update on how water resistant and if it keeps the bed dry. I had a retractable bed cover on my tundra, which eventually leaked and took a foot off my bed space. This cover was cheaper and doesn’t take a foot from my 8 foot bed lol. I went with this bed cover because of my 5th wheel hitch. ... show more

The corners do not fit over the frame. Watched installation video at least six times, tried to adjust the cover numerous times but the corners are still puckered and look bad. Purchased a cheaper brand, $169 vs $379 for Truxedo, for my sons truck and it looks great. I would return it but already destroyed packaging. Thought Real Truck would be better but more expensive doesn't necessarily mean a better product. ... show more
