Thank you DREO, for making such a GREAT product! I have 2 cockatiels that have their own room and love it very hot, since they are “tropical” birds. Received this 2 days ago and wanted to wait, give it a try, and make sure the videos were speaking the truth and also those that gave it high ratings! Well, it works FANTASTIC! I bought this mainly for my baby birds, to keep them warm but also for me-I can stay cool, while they can stay warm and my electric bill will not be outrageous! This winter, if we lose electricity, I am positive that with my generator, me and the birds can move into a room and stay comfy cozy until electric is restored! Small but powerful

I am a travel nurse and I live out of furnished finders when working. When I had to find housing last minute after a terrible experience with a landlord, I found a listing for an older home that had been remodeled and it looked very nice in pictures and in person. It wasn’t until after I signed my lease and moved in when I realized that the house did not have a central HVAC system. This was because of the age of the house. The only thing that heated and cooled the house was a wall unit that worked fairly well, however, a winter storm hit and frigid, “ arctic”, temps came quick. The wall unit could not keep up and kept going into “defrost mode” and when it did this the house got cold quick. I began looking for heaters, I wasn’t a fan of the thought of depending on one because I know they can be dangerous. I ran across the Dreo brand and saw that they had many positive reviews and features I was looking for. Auto shut off if the unit was tipped over, thermostat control, oscillating, remote controlled. I caved and bought this model for the living room area, and two smaller models, one for the bedroom and one for the bathroom. When they came I was shocked at how small they were and was skeptical about if they would even be worth it. These heaters are small, but the heat and power they put out is not and they do a very quiet job of it too. So quiet that I at first didn’t even know if it was on and blowing until I felt the air myself. They not only keep the house warm in addition with the wall unit running, but I have noticed I don’t have to run the wall unit as much, it takes the work load off from it, and I’ve even had multiple times where I have had to turn the heaters off because the house gets too warm. Another feature I like that I didn’t realize they all had was that I can switch them over to just a regular fan mode and it circulates the air. Very nice, very powerful, and very nice looking as well. I highly recommend this brand. They saved me and my pups from freezing to death this winter. ... show more

Good for two years of use

I purchased this heater in December 2023 and have used it for about two years. Initially, it worked well and provided sufficient warmth for the room. However, after this winter, its performance noticeably declined. While it still blows warm air, it no longer heats the room effectively as it did before, which ultimately required me to replace it. I decide to replace it with an Lasko space heater this time, as one I own over ten years is still functioning reliably.) Overall, this heater is still a good option if you’re looking for something more aesthetic and well-made in terms of design and build quality, as long as long-term durability isn’t your top priority. ... show more

Best heater ive owned and ive tried them all

Absolutely LOVE this heater. I have bought oil filled heaters, infra red heaters… ceramic heaters.. I have tried every type and size of heater. And of all the heaters ive ever had… this one is the safest… quietest.. best value for money ive ever spent. This is so quiet.. i had to sit next to it.. and could still barely hear it at all. You can shut the “moving back and forth oscillation”.. and you can also use it as a regular fan in the summer! You can clean the filter should it become clogged. It is super safe…. Small and un obnoxious looking. The only thing i don’t like about it .. but it’s fine.. is the “eco” mode. I tried it at 67..68 degrees. But it would turn on.. sample the air.. and shut off right away. To get my space to stay at 67 or 68 degrees.. i have to turn it up to 75 degrees on eco mode. So the one mode where you can set the temp to exactly where you want it.. is not that accurate. The reason for this is that the temp sensor is close to the heating element and shuts it off prematurely. They tell you this in the instructions. Which… by the way is an actual decent size booklet. This also comes with a fantastic remote. And you can turn off the “beeping” too! I love this heater so much that i just ordered a second identical one for a gift for someone. When you turn this heater on H1 (its not HI.. its H1… don’t make that mistake), H2 or H3… this thing is blistering hot. It will heat even a large space up in minutes but doesn’t shut off at a specific temp when you do this… you have to turn it off yourself on the regular “low.. medium.. high” settings (which are H1 H2 and H3). So.. i always leave it on eco mode with the temp set higher than room temp i wish it to be… You will have to experiment with it on your own. Also.. on eco mode the digital display goes off after a few seconds so it doesn’t bother you if your trying to sleep (but on the H1 H2 and H3 modes… the display stays on.. which is good because it reminds you to shut it when your melting). As far as electrical use.. on eco mode its not running all of the time so it is fantastic! Even better than an oil heater, because when it does come on for a number of minutes it heats the room and shuts off … done.. ... show more

Nice heater

Was skeptical at first, this heater puts out some serious heat. Brought the temperature upstairs from 68f to 74 in 40 minutes. Not made for a small room unless you’re watching it. Very impressive. That said, made in china! Might want to get the warranty 😮

A nice looking heater with some annoying drawbacks

First, the acceptable. Yes it does the job. It puts out a moderate amount of hot to warm air. It will warm up a small to moderate room in about 5 minutes. It is moderately quiet, but you will still be well aware of it's noise. It won't hurt your ears, but you'll want to turn up the volume if it's near you and you're watching TV. I think where this heater disappoints is in it's functional design choices. 1. The first strike is the recessed slot at the top back of the heater where you pick it up. There are no textures or ridges in the slot, so it's fairly easy to let it slip out of your grip. This is compounded by the uneven weight at the bottom back which makes it pull away from your hand as it swings while walking. Make sure and grip it tightly. 2. The beeps get irritating after a while. When you plug it in...a long beep. Turn it on...another beep. And a beep for every setting you change. These are probably intended to be for safety, but they're just an annoyance to me. There is a mute button on the remote (only) that will kill all the beeps...until you unplug it. So you have to keep muting it with the remote each time it's unplugged. 3. The LED digital display seems like an upscale feature for a space heater, but quickly goes off after turning it on and selecting the setting. Once it's gone black, you have to touch a button to wake it up to see what setting it's in or make a change. Thankfully the remote responds on the first click. 4. When you turn the heater off, it goes into a countdown mode of 15 seconds. I'm assuming it's some sort of cooldown. I've never seen something like this required on a small space heater. You can just unplug the heater to force it to stop, but I'm not sure if it's hurting the heater. If you need a heater that will stay in the same place (i.e. not be unplugged regularly) and you would plan to operate it from the remote, this could be a good choice for you. I just feel like I spent extra money on features that I don't even want. ... show more
