I did not receive this as a review unit like many other reviews. Most of the review were from free units sent out so I was nervous about it. However I can say that this fan is great. Installing it took about a half hour on my own. The remote comes with a 2035 battery pre installed. The fan is SILENT. The only thing I can hear is the air moving around, very happy about that as that was the main reason we were looking for a new ceiling fan. Connecting it to the app is super simple and the app itself is really nicely designed. The only thing that was a hiccup was that I couldn't add it to Alexa through the Alexa app. It kept giving me an error about the app being out of date when I tried to link the Dreo skill. Instead you have to add it to Alexa through the Dreo app itself. Weird quirk but after that it works great using either the remote, the app or Alexa. ... show more

Very nice looking and quite ceiling fan/light. Love the look, clean and modern and sleek, but not too modern, enough you know what I mean. I prefer the contrast between the silver of the body and the wood-look of the fan blades. Installation is easy if you have a little DIY expedience doing things around the house. Make sure you shut the electric off!.. and not just at the switch. Took less than an hour to unpack, assemble, wire and hang. My wife and I love the look. It's very quite, can't really hear any motor running, just the wind noise from the fan blades. The remote has all the typical setting that most ceiling fans have today so I won't go over each setting one by one, I'll just say they all work as they should. The one curious feature is the 12 speeds.. do you really need TWELVE? lol. Seems three or four would do fine. That being said I only see 6 speeds on the remote, maybe the other six speeds are on the app? Nor sure, but we have no need or desire to use and app to control a ceiling fan, the remote works fine. The media could not be loaded. Replacement for older fan love I can use with Alexa . With Alexa you can say turn on fan but for the light I have to say Alexa turn on or off light on the fan that works for me. Remote is easy to use will buy 2 more for other bedrooms.Omg so quiet and lighting is great for what ever brightness you want. If being installed by one person use the little hook to hang it on while you connect wires that was a great idea by company. ... show more
