I cannot express enough how thrilled I am with my decision to purchase this amazing standing fan for my wife! This is the first standing fan that I have felt compelled to give a five-star review to. I made the purchase in August 2024, intending to find a high-quality fan that would truly enhance our comfort at home. Historically, my wife has preferred buying inexpensive fans from big box stores. However, after going through several of them over just a tear—sometimes needing replacement within a few months—I grew weary of the constant cycle of buying and disposing of subpar products. I decided it was time to splurge on a quality fan, and I can confidently say that I have no regrets about this investment. From the moment we started using this 100ft quiet circulating standing fan, it became clear that it was a cut above the rest. Our previous fans were notoriously loud, which forced us to crank up the volume on the TV just to hear our shows. Plus, we often faced issues with oscillation malfunctioning or other technical problems cropping up. In stark contrast, this fan has been a game-changer for us. After three full months of testing and daily use, especially during the night, we've genuinely enjoyed a noticeable difference. The fan's wind velocity, distribution, and coverage capabilities are unmatched compared to any other fan we have bought or tested. Its ability to circulate air is phenomenal, effectively cooling or heating the room while evenly distributing the HVAC air throughout the space, which has made our environment vastly more comfortable and enjoyable. One of the standout features that I love about this fan is its app control. As someone who enjoys indulging in hot baths, I found it rather inconvenient to keep asking my wife to bring me the fan when I forgot to set it up. The app itself is exceptionally well-designed—it's user-friendly, intuitive, and responds quickly to commands. Even the controls on the fan are incredibly sensitive; a light touch is all that’s needed to operate them. The fan has been designed with cleanliness in mind, featuring a sleek aesthetic that avoids grooves and crevices where dust and dirt can accumulate. Cleaning has become a breeze; I simply blow out the small holes above each function to keep it tidy. On November 29, 2024, I decided to give the fan its first cleaning and am impressed with the low amount of debris on the fan covers and blade (see pictures). Cleaning this fan is easier than most standard fans. The process was impressively straightforward. I needed to remove two screws, one for each blade cover. With a simple twist, I took off the covers, removed the fan blades, and washed them along with the blade covers using a mild cleaner. I then rinsed everything with a garden hose. Once the parts were dry, I cleaned the rest of the fan with a terry cloth towel and put it back together. To my delight, it looks as pristine as the day we first unboxed it. The finish on this fan and its components is strikingly beautiful, adding an elegant touch to our home decor. While I could elaborate further on each feature and characteristic, the bottom line is that we love this modern smart fan more than words can express and we have purchased or received and tested as an honest product tester many fans through the years. In fact, our child was so enamored with it that he requested one for Christmas, and we’ve already purchased one for him! As a gamer, his room tends to get quite hot, and this fan does a fantastic job of keeping both the room and his computer cool. The Dreo tower is the best fan I've ever owned. I loved it so much that I bought two more. Built with high quality materials, the fan is strong while staying quiet. The app is fantastic, no issues ever. Being able to set this fan to turn on/off on a schedule is worth the money alone, plus you get all the other awesome features like customized oscillation zones, temperature settings, and remote control over the fan. Cannot recommend this enough, if you're reading this, just buy it. You will not regret this purchase.

This fan has greatly exceeded all my expectations! The only thing I’m mad about is not buying it sooner lol it’s well put together, looks nice and has some heft to it to firmly plant it in place. It has some sort of finish with silver specks in it (see photo2, that’s not dust but the finish). Assembles very easily. The fan portion moves in all directions: rotates and pans up/down which is nice. It’s really quiet for the power it produces. It has 8 speed levels but honestly I haven’t had to use it above 4. The fan itself appears a bit small but it’s effective. It comes with a remote, has touchscreen buttons on top of fan housing, and has smart app. The best thing about this fan however, and what impresses me the most, is the Dreo app. Usually apps for smart devices especially once that aren’t prominently popular mainstream brands tend to suck and be half assed. Not this one. It works so well and can customize ao much with it. First and foremost: voice control. This fan WORKS WITH SIRI!! This was a huge surprise for me and if you’re an iPhone user you know how rare it is. You can add voice commands for any function of the fan including power on/off, change speed, change vertical/horizontal oscillation, set timers, literally anything the fan does you can add voice commands that work great. The only way I’ve pretty much used this fan is with Siri. The app works great itself too even without voice commands. You can even set the oscillation range, and customize it asymmetrically. Set timers for when you want it to auto turn on/off or how long you want it to run for. The only minor issue inconvenience ive had is sometimes if I turn on the fan at any given moment without a timer it will run for a set period of time about 10-15mins or so then turn off again. I’m not sure if there’s a way for me to change this, if it’s just a flaw, or if it’s by design. It’s really not a big deal though I’ll just tell Siri to turn it back on and that’s that 🤷♂️ This fan has been amazing and I will certainly purchase from Dreo again. Furthermore, all Dreo devices are controlled from the same app, so they all are compatible with siri (verified by Dreo when I inquired about it) and can link multiple Dreo devices to the app together which is convenient. If you need a good fan and want the nice smart features, I highly recommend this😌 couldn’t be happier with my purchase

I bought one of these to replace the standard pedestal fan we had in our bedroom for years, after the old one started to get too weak to do it's job anymore. I can tell you, this thing MOVES some air compared to even a brand new fan. It's so strong that we typically don't even have it pointed directly at us at night. I have it setup to point at a certain spot on the ceiling so it bounces back down and is a little gentler, but still helps keep us cool at night. During the daytime, I typically set it to oscillate horizontally and vertically, so it moves the air around the room, and it really helps to keep the room nice and cool. There's not a single spot in the whole room where the air stays still all day. The fact that this fan is wifi connected and has an app was a big factor in my decision to buy it, since I already have a pretty large collection of smart devices and was able to integrate this pretty easily. The app is one of the better thought-out smart home device apps I've seen, but not without its flaws. It's very easy to get the fan setup and connected to your wifi, and there are lots of options waiting for you once you do, including the ability to point the fan wherever you need, remotely. The included physical remote does not have this functionality. It's a very simple, "power, fan-speed, oscillation on/off" remote, so the app is your friend if you want to control exactly where this fan points without physically moving it. The fan is so good, I actually bought a second one for my office, to replace a "dumb" Dreo tower fan. It's working great, and keeps the air in my office moving 10x better than the tower fan ever could, however, upon setting it up in the app I noticed a strange inconsistency it and the original fan in the bedroom. The firmware on this new one is significantly newer, and offers features that the original one does not, however I can't update the firmware of the original one to match it. The newer fan allows you to manipulate the horizontal and vertical positioning in a sort of 3D way, whereas the original one does not. Additionally, when connected to Home Assistant, the new fan exposes a horizontal and vertical rotation entity that allows you to not only change them in realtime, but use them in scripts, automations, and scenes, which is fantastic. Unfortunately, this only works with the more recently purchased one, and not the slightly older one, despite them being the exact same model. Pros: - Moves a TON of air when it's on the Turbo setting - Nearly silent on lower settings ( fan speed <6 ) - Smart home integrations with Alexa, Google, Home Assistant, and probably more - Easy to use, and well thought out app for remote control Cons: - Physical remote is basically useless except for turning it on, and changing the fan speed - Firmware version between 2 separate units of the same model is vastly different (V1.2.23_0.1.1 vs V3.2.4_1.0.0), meaning features will vary depending which one you get. I'd really like some feedback from the manufacturer on this one, since it should be an easy fix. Overall, this is a great fan, and it's well worth the price, especially if you can get it on a sale.

Loving this fan so far. We are using it in our bedroom and here are a few observations: 1. Love the appearance of the fan. Looks modern and sleek and much nicer than our previously pedistal fan. 2. 8 different speed settings that range from basically silent to a decent breeze. We sleep using setting 4 which is great for us in terms of breeze and noise. I will say, the fan is a lot smaller than I expected. Height is perfectly fine for our bed that's on rizers which was my big concerns, but the overall fan is definitely smaller overall than our previous pedistal fan. It's also less powerful. For us, that's not a problem and is actually preferable given our previous pedistal fan (older Pelonis) on setting 1 was way too aggressive, and there were only 3 settings, but just something to call out. If you like a mild/medium breeze in your bedroom at night, this fan will do the trick. Setting 8 on the fan is powerful, but likely not powerful enough to cool a large room if you live in a hot climate. You may prefer a larger option if you have more aggressive cooling needs. 3. Controlling the fan through the app is fun and easy which I appreciate since my wife usually has the remote. This allows me to still control the fan without having to get up/try to find the remote. The app customizations are super cool and fun to play with. Time will tell on durability but setup was easy and I am loving this fan so far. Really appreciate the smart features and the app is working really well for me. 5/5 and v happy I bought instead of a more traditional pedistal fan.

I’ve only used it for 2 days. It came on time and was carefully packaged. Assembly was intuitive. It’s whisper quiet up to level 5. After that it was wind noise, but quite acceptable. It really moves the air. The horizontal, coupled with the vertical oscillation, worked really well to keep the air circulating in my small room, appx 150 sq ft. The controls on the stem were not intuitive to me, but with some minor playing around I got it. The remote, which you need to point directly at the fan, has the same controls. Interestingly, when I used the remote to power off the unit, it powered off the blades, but the fan continued to oscillate. After several clicks everything powered off. When I powered it back on, the oscillation feature did not return to my settings, but returned to the default settings. The app provides additional capability and is much easier to control how the fan responds to all controls. The app also provides additional USEFUL settings that are otherwise not available via the remote or the unit itself. I love the “auto” feature that causes the fan to automatically control the speed of the fan when the room temperature changes. You can add Google, Alexa or Siri voice commands, but the commands are limited (I’ve not yet found away to add “change fan speed,” for example.) You can set various timers for sleep. You can turn the fan on while you are on your way home via the app. I hesitated spending this much on a fan, but I am hoping it will be offset by reducing the use of my air conditioner. One last thing, the base is heavy and sturdy. I’d recommend this model, 517S.
