I've been wanting to replace my old Dell VGA monitor for quite some time, but couldn't justify the cost to get a similar screen size. I saw this one on sale last July during that 2 day Amazon sale. Between the sale price, and the lightning deal, it cost me less than $140.00. I've read some negative reviews about the color and such, but between the monitor settings and the GPU control panel settings, I've been able to get the look that I want both for the desktop and for videos. I also love that the stand is adjustable both horizontally and vertically. Some have said that it wobbles but I haven't had any issues with that. There are a number of inputs for adding monitors and USB devices, presumably for use as a laptop monitor and/or multiple monitor set-ups, but not necessary for me as I'm only using it as a stand alone monitor for my workstation. There's no old school VGA connection which might have been a problem before, but my Nvidia Quadro FX card has displayport outputs so I'm good. Review title says it all, this Samsung monitor charges my MacBook M1 while extending the display. Interestingly enough, if you use the USB C cable that Apple ships with the MacBook it only charges. If you use the USB C cable that comes with the display it charges and extends the display. The only downside is the resolution of course. 1080p is fine for casual users but if you're looking for something in higher resolution you will need to spend the $$. The design is so slick! The monitor can be mounted on the wall very easily but the stand that comes with it is so nice! Super adjustable and the image is sharp! Only thing is I wish it had more usbc ports but other than that its amazing!

I was surprised that the stand is adjustable. It is a very useful feature. Most of the monitors on the market do not have a adjustable stand any more for cost down purpose.

Let me start by saying I’m no tech guru, but even I could see that this monitor is definitely a step up from my 760px laptop screen. The pixel density is visibly better. However, don’t expect those bright, vibrant colors you see on some high-end monitors. The display is clear but leans on the dull side. Pros: • The height adjustment feature is super user-friendly. • Comes with an attached clip for wire management, a small but thoughtful touch. Cons: • The monitor is a bit chunky.
