This 110 pint unit works great. Pulls an absolute ton of water from the air. My home isn't super moist, but we're trying to keep the whole home drier due to some previous moisture damage awaiting repair. at ~71F and 55% RH, it dropped the whole home to ~43% in an hour or two, filling the bucket over halfway. If you live in a moist climate or have a lot of moisture to get rid of, definitely hook this up using a hose or pump or you'll be emptying it out a lot. It doesn't weigh too too much, but the casters are a nice addition. The noise isn't LOUD, but it's not quiet. This would be good in a basement or space you're not around. A few feet away the compressor and fan are... rather loud, but the sound isn't annoying. More of a white noise machine. Puts out a lot of dry air even on the lowest fan setting. The app connectivity is nice and super easy to get connected. Do note only 2.4GHz networks work, which is fine as most IoT wireless networks are 2.4. Slightly annoyed that it nags me for removing/emptying the bucket even though it's powered off, but that's the only downside I can find so far.

The Dreo Smart Dehumidifier is a very well-made and effective unit! We purchased the Dreo unit because of the satisfaction we have with other Dreo appliances - they are well made, function very well, and have high value for the money. This dehumidifier is a rather large unit, holding 2 gallons of water so can empty it on a daily basis rather than having to empty it several times during the day. It does automatically shut off when the reservoir is full, so there is no worry about the unit over-flowing. The Dreo phone app is well designed and works flawlessly. It shows you the humidity in the room, allows you to set different humidity level targets, turn the unit ON/OFF, allows you to create schedules, shows you how much capacity remains, and will even allow you to set alerts for when the reservoir is full. The unit is on casters making it easy to move even when the reservoir is full. For those not familiar with such dehumidifiers, know that they generate heat so a smaller, enclosed space will be warmed by the unit.

This is a very nice dehumidifier. It works extremely well and is a great value for the money. We have had several of these over the years and this one pulls more water out of the air, faster than any other one we have owned. We actually have to empty it twice as often as our other one that is the same size. It notifies you when it needs to be emptied as well which is nice. Only nit I can comment on - be careful emptying it. It gets very full and you have to be careful to not spill water... but we figured it out.

This things worked great while it lasted. Big tank, slick app. But after about four months of intermittent use it stopped working. From what I can tell from text notifications it sends, it thinks the water tank is full so the dehumidifier doesn't turn on, just the fan blows. Whatever kind of sensor is detecting the tank bobber seems to have failed. I feel really bad throwing this huge chunk of plastic in the garbage to clog a landfill, but see no other choice. I did check the website for assistance as directed, but there's no information of any particular use beyond very basic operation, and the troubleshooting in the manual was similarly unhelpful. In any case I'm not getting paid to fix this thing or spend any time worrying about it, so I ordered a unit from a different manufacturer and into the trash this one goes. I don't expect these things to last very long but I'd hope at least for 2-3 years.

It removes a lot of water from the air! I live in very high humidity area and have to dump it twice daily during high humidity days that people are going in and out of the house frequently. Only things to know are: 1. It gets so full that it is difficult to empty without spilling. It fills to about 1in from the top. If you are strong and extra careful it can be done. 2. The tub needs to be cleaned with peroxide or vinegar prior to use. It got brown slime growth of some sort within days of starting to use. I used peroxide to clean it and it bubbled meaning that it was a living organism (bacteria or mold). After cleaning tub heavily with peroxide the brown slime has not returned. 3. It does seem to heat up the room when in use.

The this dehumidifier is amazing. It controls the humidity all throughout my home. It’s pretty quiet for a powerful dehumidifier. It’s a little big but it has wheels and looks sleek. I have it running all month long and it cost me probably 20ish dollars a month in electricity, that’s with setting it at 40-45% humidity, at 50-60% it would be even cheaper making it energy efficient. The only complaint I have is that the water bucket needs to be removed and dumped if you don’t have a floor drain since it doesn’t have an internal water pump for removal through the drain hose. I don’t mind it since it fills like once a day (twice a day during summer) and I stay at home. But for those who need the humidity constantly controlled and aren’t stay at home people then without a floor drain you’ll have to buy a pump separately to get the water to flow up and out of the drain hose into a sink drain.

This Dreo Dehumidifier sucks the dam water right out of the air like pure magic! I am amazed how quickly this well built appliance dehumidifier is lowering my humidity in my mobile home. We had a lot of rain and when we get a lot of rain, and I can smell the moisture in the air. Right out of the box it was extremely easy to set up and turn on and use and it went right to work and it’s really really quiet. My dog and I will breathe better because of this fine unit. Update: after only 4-5 hrs after first starting up, it basically filled the extra large tank. See my video of the my first water dump. Very effective! This is just the answer that I need for my mobile home.

We live in GA where 7 months out of the year it's hot and humid. We were beginning to have a mold problem. Got two of these, one for upstairs and the other for downstairs. Initially, each of them pulled about 4 gallons of water out of the air within 24 hours. VERY impressive! Now that humidity has stabilized, they only turn on a couple of times a day when set to 50%. They are quiet considering how effective they are, and the reservoir is super easy to empty. No spills! Just be sure to wait about 5 minutes after turning it off to pull the bucket out. Only one slight disappointment. The app doesn't display how full the reservoir is. Still, A+ 5 stars. Will report back here if we have issues with either unit.
