Nice, unobtrusive clock. The digital display takes up the whole height of the clock and it is easily readable from at least 30 feet away. We recently ditched cable and didn't realize until our cable box was gone how much we used the (tiny) clock on it. This clock fixed that. It has 5 brightness settings, letting you dim or brighten the display to your liking, making it easily readable even on a bright day. We got this clock to put in our television rack in the family room: once we got rid of cable TV, we didn’t have a cable box with a clock. Now we have a nice clock with variable light intensity, so we can keep track of the time when watching TV or just sitting in the family room doing whatever. I love that this clock has a button for daylight saving time: Instead of having to reset the clock, just push that button and it toggles + or - an hour. The front screen is really cool. It looks like a gray wood grain but the time shows through it somehow really cool! I haven’t tried to use the alarms because we didn’t buy it for that feature.
