You can switch from 12 hour to military time if you prefer. The display size of the numbers is perfect as I have it on my nightstand a little bit away from my area of sleep. The light beige color looks like part of my furniture. I do like the dimmer on it as I can put the clock on a low setting or make the numbers completely disappear at night. It is nice looking in wood, and it doesn’t take unnecessary space in the nightstand. It starts the beeps quietly and gradually increases the volume, less aggressive. It has different levels of luminosity, all of that good things to praise. I wish it had a way to adjust the numbers’ brightness from the front, instead of being forced to reach the back to do that. Nice small clock --- but it's large enough to still have big numbers. I like that the numbers are dimmable -- and I like that the snooze button is right on the top (easy to tap). Easy to set, easy to use, plenty loud (adjustable loudness). All round a good clock.
