I’m trying to simplify my life and reduce (visual) clutter in my house. I’ve had my old clock radio since high school—roughly an eon ago—and it takes up two hectares of valuable bedside table space. Out with the old, in with this little cutie. The entire clock fits in the palm of my hand and takes up almost no space on the table. But the numbers are large enough that I can see the time from across the room. It’s been several months since I bought it, but I don’t remember it being difficult to set. I haven’t had to re-set it since I bought it because the back up battery keeps the time even when the power goes out, and it hasn’t “lost” a minute of time since I’ve had it. [Please note!! If the power goes out, this particular clock does NOT continue to display the time and the alarm will not go off if the power is out. In this model, battery back up just means that when the power comes back on, the correct time will display without having to reset.) I like that I have the option to power the clock either via the USB port in my bed frame or using the included adapter for AC/DC electric wall outlet. But my absolute favorite feature of this clock is the ability to easily adjust the brightness of the display. It can be dimmed from all the way down to nearly blacked out completely and all the way up to visible from space. I leave it very bright during the day and then dim it at bedtime. When I dropped cable TV, and after I'd returned the DVR, I realized there was no clock in the living now that the DVR was gone. Sure, I could pick up my phone and check the time, but having a nice, easy-to-read clock to look at quickly was what I was missing. This DreamSky clock is the perfect replacement for the DVR's clock. The large display is readable at any distance, that the display can be dimmed so it's still viewable but not intrusive while watching TV with the lights off is really appreciated, and that the clock itself has such a small footprint for such a large display is impressive. Really great large number clock. Numbers are about 2 inches tall. With the choice of color (I found red gentlest on the eyes) and adjustable brightness (aka dimmable) this clock really is better than a lot of the alarm clocks I could find at local pharmacies or big box stores. It has a battery which stores your settings (note that it will not continue to power the clock numbers if you unplug the clock... you need to keep it plugged in to an outlet), and even a spare USB port for charging (get a short charging cable like these https://amzn.to/4baizZX and you have a nice COMPACT bedside pairing). I found it easy to program/set the time and alarm, and appreciated that all the main controls are on the back, leaving a nice big SNOOZE button on the top. Big numbers for a small digital clock. Battery backup keeps good time during short power outages. Clock is keeping excellent time after setting to WWV - changes on the second. Uses a USB A (large male to large male) charger (printer) cable which was too short for my old-school stereo cabinet and I had to buy a 6' cable to put the clock in the desired location. No need for glasses to see the time from across the room with these large numbers. The dimmer dial is great and allows you to set just the right amount of light for your room's ambiance. I would give 5 stars for a much longer cable. I'm not using this clock for an alarm so I have to comment on that feature. Finally, I really like the blue number color and that they are viewable from any angle. ... show more

We both love the big numbers, adjustable lightness and volume. Light's set on very dim and also serves as a night light in our bedroom. I bought this for the bedroom night stand. This item is basic but with nice features. The dimmer adjustment has a wide range for anyone’s needs, along with the volume. The alarm is very easy to program. The clock is slightly bigger than my phone which leaves a good amount of space on the table for other things.
