I liked that you can choose the brightness & choose military time or not. Big numbers I can see from afar. Displays the date. The only thing I disliked is the charging adapter was hard to place behind furniture because of the way the cord is designed. It petrudes from the outer end instead of the side of the adapter making it stick out & so I had to accommodate & add it to a charging strip(2nd plug in picture)..... Overall a great product & works great. We haven't used the alarm b/c we use our cell phones for that, but needed to see the time instead of grabbing for our phone when lying in bed or waking up. ... show more

I bought 3 of these as I love the face of the clock, the organization is so easy to read and the lighting is good. I like that the light can be bright or dim for sleep. The alarm works well, has a reliable snooze button, a must for me. I placed one of the three in the bedroom on my night-stand which has a raised lip around the edge. This clock stands up tall enough for me to see over the lip without raising my head. That's a plus. I check the clock to see what day, date and time it is, since retiring, every day feels the same to me, I need a reliable source to confirm the day, and the letters are large enough to read without putting my glasses on. This alarm clock is almost the perfect alarm clock. I moved from projection clock. I ordered another similar style clock that did have time and temperature display which did not make the cut. I had to send that back due to I think it was defective (power adapter) short causing the display to run off back up battery, which made it lose power. The display of the clock was very poor, although I love the outdoor weather temperature display with time. I had to send it back. Not paying $40 for a clock that had that poor of craftmanship. That failed purchase lead me down a rabbit hole, which led me to this clock. The reviews for this company product was more great than not so great. They did offer projection clocks, but not like this one. I really liked the display on this one, but the biggest selling point was the atomic clock. It keeps the settings, when the power flickers. Not having to reset time and alarms was worth the trade off. I just wished this style also offered projection. If it had a weather station for outside temperature to also be displayed with time would have made it the perfect clock for me. My personal preferences aside. This is a good QUALITY alarm clock with perks (moon phase, dst and atomic setting) for a VERY FAIR price. The display is clear and very legible from across the room. The automatic dim setting is a added bonus. The alarm sound is effective. Annoying enough to wake you, but not so annoying that you want to smash it with your fist (lol). I had to get rid of my not that old sharpe alarm clock because the buttons stopped working correctly. To be honest I hated that thing because it was always making this low dog whistle noise whenever the alarm was set almost like 1% of the alarm sound was escaping and 99% was being held in until the right time. Anyways I won't be buying that brand again. This dreamsky alarm clock is very user friendly with all relevant information easy to see on the front so you always know if the alarm is set and for when. It also shows room temp and a couple of things I can't remember right now but it feels like the clock of the future compared to my old POS sharpe. The footprint and weight is also pretty small. It's basically like a small tablet that sits on it's edge. The usb charger is a nice bonus but I haven't used it yet. I've never heard of dreamsky but I assume they're another amazon china brand. If it ends up being unreliable I'll come back and lower my score but right now I love it. ... show more
