I've been using these DreamSky digital clocks for about a year at work. We put them everywhere. They're very easy to read but yet very compact. The numbers have five different settings of brightness so even in a brightly lit room they're easy to read. I don't use the alarm but it is easy to set. It doesn't play Sonny and Cher but it does have an annoying beep. And actually comes with a adapter which was a surprise especially if this price. However the adapter has the cable coming out the back so I swapped it out with one coming out the side so that my dresser didn't have to be so far from the wall. You may want to consider that. I am very happy with my purchase of this clock. The numbers are large and thick enough to be very clear, and the five settings for brightness are a big help. I can dim the clock enough at night so that it doesn't bother me and yet is readable, and brighten to the right brightness for daytime. The clock seems sturdy and stable. Perfect alarm clock for my middle schooler. He's a light sleeper and doesnt like a pitch-black room. The amount of light this clock emits just from the numbers on the screen is perfect, and adjustable. As is the loudness of the actual alarm. He loves that he can change the color display of the numbers on the screen to cycle through different colors, or display several colors at once. I really like this alarm clock. However, it's slightly different than presented in the description video. The video shows the display brightness and the alarm volume being infinitely adjustable by rheostat wheels on the back side of the clock. The model I received has only buttons to control those functions. You press the buttons to get five different settings. Most bedroom clocks are too bright. This works well as intended. It would be great to have it entirely battery powered but not a deal breaker. It's nice and compact with easy to read time. The alarm works good and loud enough for me but can go even louder if needed. This is a very nice small alarm clock for the bedroom. I love the big numbers and the adjustability of the brightness of the numbers. I bought the white clock with blue numbers which is easy to read.
