  • Durable Hose
Color: Orange Size: 5/8"x50'
I have owned this hose for nearly 5 years and it’s still going strong. No kinks. No weak spots. Works as well as it did when I bought it. Best hose I’ve ever owned by a large margin.

  • A Durable and Vibrant Choice for Gardeners
Color: Blue Size: 5/8"x50'
The Dramm 17005 ColorStorm Rubber Garden Hose, measuring 5/8" x 50' and available in a striking blue color, is not just a functional tool for gardening; it's a statement of quality and style. Receiving a glowing 5-star rating, this hose stands out for its durability, flexibility, and vibrant design. It's ideal for gardeners who demand reliability and a splash of color in their gardening tools. First and foremost, the build quality of this hose is exceptional. Made from premium rubber, it is designed to withstand the rigors of garden work. Unlike typical plastic hoses that can kink and degrade over time, the ColorStorm hose maintains its flexibility and strength, ensuring a long life of reliable use. Whether you're watering your flower beds or cleaning your patio, this hose is up to the task. The hose's blue color is not only visually appealing but also practical. It adds a fun and unique touch to your garden tools, making the hose easy to spot in the midst of greenery and dirt. The vibrant coloration is a welcome departure from the standard green or black hoses, adding a bit of personality to your gardening routine. Another significant feature of the ColorStorm hose is its kink-resistant design. This feature is a game-changer for gardeners who have struggled with hoses that twist and turn, obstructing water flow. The flexibility of the rubber material ensures that water flow remains consistent, making your watering tasks more efficient and less frustrating. The hose's length, at 50 feet, strikes a perfect balance between reach and manageability. It's long enough to cover a good-sized garden or yard without being cumbersome to store or handle. • Nice hose (revised)
Color: Orange Size: 5/8"x50'
I have used this hose for over a year now and I have to adjust my review accordingly. Initially, I rated it as a 2/5. This was because it was difficult to coil and seemed to kink easily, and because of the harmful materials used in its construction (i.e., the label recommends that one wash one's hands after handling the hose, because of the cancer-causing agents in the materials). While the materials haven't changed, I have adjusted my review to 4/5. The fittings have held up, and the hose has relaxed so it's much easier to coil and it rarely kinks. The colour is great and it's a good quality hose overall. I now have two hoses: one in orange and one purple. The darker colour seems better for cleanliness -- hides the dirt more easily. I can see a yellow hose looking great initially, but it will start to look dirty one you drag it around and handle it with garden gloves. I have found that my older (orange) hose has faded a little, as it has been exposed to the sun for longer periods. (Probably best to keep it in a shed or garage most of the time.) I shopped around for a second hose, but couldn't find anything as nice as this one, which is why I recently purchased the purple hose. To summarize: - Good overall quality, and it looks good. - Nicer than any of the hoses I have seen at places like Canadian Tire or Home Depot. - Darker colours will look best over time; will fade with prolonged exposure to the elements. - Cancer-causing agents used in the materials. ... show more

  • (life is easier with a good hose reel) And my purty yellow hose just makes it a nicer day.
Color: Yellow Size: 5/8"x50'
No more lifetime, kink-free, multi-ply, vinyl hoses for me - or ugly rubber hoses that rubs off on your hands, etc. Think about this: For a few dollars more than store-bought rubber, you can have a premium rubber hose that is very flexible, light weight (yes), quality looking, corrosion resistant heavy duty fittings, and rubber is crush resistant on the hose reel resulting in higher water pressure. (life is easier with a good hose reel) And my purty yellow hose just makes it a nicer day. (you'll see) Complaints about the continuous lettering are unfounded, because the lettering is faded and hardly noticeable 12 feet away. Kink free? There's no such thing. Like all good hoses the directions say, "Unwind (unroll) the hose on a +70 degree day - DO NOT pull the hose to uncoil it as this may cause unnecessary kinking". (twisting the hose) And let it lay out a while. Then if you get a kink, it pulls right out. Know why the lettering? So you can see if your hose is twisted. Any long hose full of water is going to feel heavier when pulling it around corners and such. Gather a few links with you - the hose will feel lighter and it's less wear and tear on the hose. Like any quality product, learn to take care of it and love it. BTW, Dramm e-mailed me right back with technical questions I had. UPDATE 8/26/18. I still love this hose. Buying 2 more. Unintentionally left it out to freeze this winter without draining. Come spring, no problems. Although it's well used and dirtier now, this is still a very good looking yellow hose. It doesn't mold and cleans up nicely by just running a wet glove over it. OK, let's set the record strait. This is definitely a heavy duty hose, but it's flexibility makes it feel lighter, dragging it over concrete, around bushes, trees, brick edging, etc. And after several years of abuse it doesn't balloon - it's still just over 7/8"OD - skinny as heavy duty goes. I really like the look and feel of this octagon shaped covering. I'm convinced that's what gives it strength without increasing the diameter (which would make it stiffer and heavier). This octagon shape aids in occasional kink removal with nothing more than just a shake, without leaving "memory" creases. Folks, you gotta roll this premium, heavy duty hose up on a hose reel, especially if you're running 100' or more. It's not made for coiling it up, hanging it on a nail or stuffing it in a jar, like some people I read. Don't drag it by it's end fittings or around sharp objects, and this may be the last hose you'll ever buy. ... show more

  • Excellent quality hose

This is a much better hose than you can buy at a retail store such as Home Depot. I'm very pleased. I liked the color options.

  • Best hoses out!
Color: Yellow Size: 5/8"x100'
This hose is actually 100 ft long like the product variant option says. These are the best hoses money can buy. I originally bought two, one for me and one to replace a neighbors hose. We’ve had those since May of 20222, and they are going strong. They are heavy but they don’t kink and wear out like typical hoses. The connectivity is great and the metal ends are strong and durable. My neighbors has been run over by all types of vehicles and farm equipment, it’s sat out in the sun for years, and it still works like it first did. ... show more

  • Hosing Down the Competition--Not Really.
Color: Green Size: 5/8"x50'
I am a relatively new homeowner, having purchased my first and likely last home in December of 2020. The home's yard had been neglected; it was overgrown, scrubby and filled with stones; in short, it was nasty and I hated it. But as with all or most new homeowners, money was tight. It took me more than two years to begin to deal with it. And when I did I realized I needed a hose. A neighbor gave me a vinyl hose. One use of that and I realized it was horrible. It refused to cooperate and it insisted on kinking itself every few feet. It took me more than an hour to do what I should have been able to do in ten minutes. So I dumped that and went looking for a rubber hose. I remember, perhaps from childhood, a rubber hose was quite soft, though sturdy, so it didn't have the "spine" (so to speak) to kink. When I bought this that is what I thought I was getting and so the cost didn't bother me. I was willing to pay what it took to get the hose I wanted. Alas. The hose arrived beautifully packaged in a box I knew I'd never be able to get it back into once it came out. But out it came. I was so excited but as I extracted it I noticed that it seemed to have a hard feel. I checked the box twice again to be sure it was rubber as it seemed too stiff and hard for that--or for my now-obviously mistaken memory. Nevertheless, I figured I was wrong so I hooked it up and tried to unravel it. The coil was so tight it was not particularly cooperative and worst of all, it kinked. Badly. Not as badly as the vinyl hose but badly. I Drag. Unroll. De-kink. Drag. Unroll. De-kink. Need I add it was a hot day and I was beginning to feel not just frustrated but miserable. I did get everything watered (and had to drag it over to another faucet to reach the plants further out) and the kinks continued. So did my repeated trips to un-kink them. When I finally finished I had an awful time trying to get this hose to curl into a circle for storage. I mostly did but the firmness of the hose fought me every step of the way. So this hose is now stored in the shed and to be honest I don't know what I am going to do with it. It has ruined my idea of rubber hoses being the best. Maybe I can sell it for half of what I paid for it. I think that is what I am going to try to do. (And then continue to use my new metal hose--which IS excellent and what a hose should be. ... show more
