  • Works very well..... with a large enough air source
The air bladder needs an air source larger than a 3 gal air compressor for the obstruction that needed to be removed; Pictures show a 5 gal. air tank; used a 20 gal. tank/ air compressor. Recommend the whole combo of bladder. yellow air hose, and uniweld blowgun. The blowgun connector to the air source is a standard thread used for air compressors/ air tools quick connects.. Did have to cut the 3/4 in PVC drain line to insert the bladder; would not make the 90 degree bend for the T-joint in the condensate drain line. The condensate drain line obstruction was unusually stubborn this time, but the air bladder combo eventually broke it open. ... show more

  • Handy Tool!
Even adding vinegar regularly doesn't prevent AC condensate line clogs from occurring. Freeing up a clog can be a time consuming process but this air powered bladder reduces the process to a few minutes. I connect it to my little air compressor and give it a blast and the line is instantly free of obstructions. There are other air source solutions available that can be used if you don't have a compressor. ... show more

  • Referred to me by HVAC Tech
I watched my HVAC tech unplug my air handler condensate line in seconds with his tool. I spent three hours trying to unplug it. He had an air bottle with air regulated down to 70#. I made mine so it would work off air compressor. Once it blows through, I will switch air fitting to garden hose fitting and flush. ... show more
