I had a major clog in my shower I used this snake and it came through for me worth every penny had to use the drill to unclog shower just be careful when you use the drill the snake frame is plastic so take your time with it slowly feed the snake through the shower drain or whatever clog you have this is a solid snake for the price! ... show more

I have owned and used a 25 foot drain snake for a number of years and have used it for the shower drains and for clearing the kitchen drain. This time, I ran the entire 25 feet into the kitchen drain and it didn't clear. I found this 35 foot snake and hoped that the extra 10 feet would do the trick. It took the whole 35 feet but at the very end, the clog cleared and the sink drained. An added bonus is the extra flexible springy tip that seemed to make it easier to feed the snake through the trap under the sink. It was very satisfying. ... show more

It is quite awkward to use, I did not use the 👩⚕️ lol function. However I snaked my drain 2-3 times and it broke up my clogged drain. Well worth the $ and effort used. And cost way less than a plumber!

This item was difficult to us and did not work as directed. I attached my drill to it but had to manually pull out the cord. It would spin but not retract. I was not pleased with this item

I tried this for the first time with no experience. And in the first try, it pulled out all the clunk. I've used it with the drill and it pulled out everything in seconds and there is no more water clogging. Highly recommended

Usually I either review a product with 5 stars, or one star. There's almost never a middle-of-the-road review from me. But here's my reasons. 1. Yes, it did eventually clear my kitchen skink drain. It took several tries tho, and each time I worked on it for 2hrs. Back and forth thru the drain pipe, over and over again. That could just be the severity of my clog, or user error tho. 2. I got the drill adapter, which helped really get the snake wiggling, but it neither advanced, or retracted the snake like I thought it would. I had to manually push it down the drain, as well as push it back into the plastic housing when finished. Pretty hands on of a job, yuk. Seems very cheaply made in that respect. 3. After the first use, it's already gross and rusty, and I had a very hard time pulling it out and coiling it back in because of that. I feel like there should be a way of cleaning this thing, and protecting it from rust, otherwise it's basically a one time use snake and I can throw it away now. I'll have to look into a way of easily doing that, hopefully without having a 35ft snake in my bathtub, trying to wash it up. Again, gross. Overall, it did the job, and I'll *maybe have it to use if the drain backs up again. It's a constant issue because the pvc doesn't have enough drop to properly empty. Just no what you're getting, and be ready for a tough/gross job if you buy this one. ... show more

I bought this because after having our septic pumped we discovered that our drain field was not working properly and I thought we might use it to clear the pipes leading to the drain field. Before I had a chance to try it out, I found that my daughter's new house she bought had some plumbing problems. The water was off when she bought it so she wasn't aware that every drain in the house was plugged. Before my drain field job, I took the drain auger to her to clear her drains. She has been going through her house and working on the drains. Once she finishes with her drains, we will be digging up my drain field and hope to get it unclogged. So far this thing is holding up well and will save us both a fortune in plumbing bills. I like that the auger is 35 feet long, which is longer than most and can get to the bottom of most clogs. It is sturdy, yet flexible enough to go around corners easily. The auger can be operated either manually or by using an electric drill making it efficient and simple for anyone to operate. It can be used on pretty much any type of drain such as sink, bathtub, floor drain, etc., and I'm hoping it will work on my drain field.
