    • Doesnt burn but a little under powered
So this works but it seems to take longer than other devices that have more power. I think this would be great if it had a boost in the power department while keeping the cooling effect! It will take a while to notice massive results (at least from our experience) but in the end it does do what it says, I just wish it did it faster. Easy to hold also and did not slip from my wifes nor my hands while using it which some others have. If you are ok with a bit less power than others at this price range then I think you will be very happy! ... show more

    • Easy to use
This is the first home laser that I am trying out. So far I have noticed thinning hair as they don't feel as prickly. It feels cold when using it, so I think that's why it doesn't hurt or burn like I was afraid it might. So far I like it and seems to be giving favorable results.

At first I was skeptical about a handheld home hair remover. Come in a nice packaging with glasses razor blades and plug. Easy and o carry to other places. The device feels prime quality. Nice weight to it. Easy to use easy controls. Love the color. Can be used on yourself. I have been using it on my girlfriend’s armpits legs and ……. The Lense gets cool. Absolutely no burning . Having tested a huge number of IPL devices at this point, I'd say this IPL falls squarely in the lower-mid level tier. It has some bonus features, but it's also relatively low powered. Specifics of this IPL device: ** Includes ICE skin cooling functionality ** Selectable power level (1-5), 19.8J ** Selectable body part focus (Body/Face/Bikini) ** Rated for 36W (lower midrange) ** Oblong shape. ** No focusing lenses ** Rated for 999,900 flashes You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas. In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, two cheap disposable razors, a lens cleaning cloth, plus instructions. "Oce" functionality AKA "Local epidermal cooling," which is included here, uses a Peltier junction to reduce the heat at the point of contact. The high-powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. The three modes (body/face/bikini) are not clearly explained in the manual, so it's not clear what difference to the operation those modes make. I'd hesitate to say hose are particular value, as a result. This IPL is mid-priced and is much more expensive than many IPL devices on Amazon. You do get the epidermal cooling, but you also get a lower end 36W power supply, which is disappointing at the price. The device seems to work OK--like most of the many IPL devices you can find on Amazon. So if you want an IPL device that includes ICE and the price is attractive (these things frequently get discounted via promotions), then this would be an OK choice. But shop around. Summary: Pros: ** Integrates epidermal cooling (ICE) ** Three modes (body/face/bikini) Cons: ** Fairly expensive ** Relatively low powered (36W) ** Oblong shape may be uncomfortably wide for smaller hands ** Mode behaviors not suitably described in the manual; not clear how useful they are ** Heat exhaust vents on IPL are all on the bottom, and are blocked if you place the IPL down while it's on ... show more

First use : I was surprised how painless was the process even when I was using level 5. The cooling system works great. After 1 week of use , the hair slow down to grow.     • Makes hair softer and lighter
I've been using this for a while now and it's definitely working as it should. It's easy to hold, and is making my hair feel much less bristly on my chin, and much lighter as they aren't coming in as dark. The sensation of using this is very interesting! It does feel cold! It doesn't feel like ice on the skin, but it does feel cool and doesn't burn me at all. I don't have overly sensitive skin, but I haven't had any reaction or burns from this. I've used it as the instructions state the face mode on the face and neck, body mode on the body and bikini mode on the bikini area. I haven't used the bikini mode as much, but I'll definitely get to it! I've been mostly using it on my face neck and armpit areas. Usually my chin hairs come in very bristly and a few dark ones starting to form as I age. I started using this 2 weeks ago and have used it 2 to 3 times per week and it has helped my hairs not grow in as dark or as bristly! The unit has an auto mode, which is my favorite. It also has a manual mode where you have to press the button every single time you want the blast. The lasers are very bright and I'm glad that it comes with eye protection!
