This is my first tattoo gun and it's perfect for getting started. It runs great so far and it's simple to use. I'm kinda scared to use it on my skin just because everything is so faded on the fake skin so far. It could just be because i literally just started yesterday. I do recommend ordering more ink and fake skin though. The ink it came with was very tiny and there's only one fake skin to use.

Dragonhawk has made a beast for beginners. I went right into tattooing myself and it was surprisingly straight-forward with this machine. ** NOTE to other beginners: It can get pretty tricky so unless you are insanely creative and artistic, I do not recommend jumping into tattooing yourself. Have knowledge around drawing/painting, how to keep yourself and your equipment safe (most important), and of course proper aftercare methods.

Really like this, works well and is consistent. Only major issue I have is there aren’t mm indicators for the needle depth adjuster which would make it WAY easier to use. Otherwise you’re practically just guessing. Definitely get some more ink because it only comes with a teeny tiny bottle maybe enough for one small tattoo

For the price and what you’re getting; it’s one hell of a deal. Honestly, this is the machine I started with and it’s been nothing but great. Exactly what you’d expect a pen style machine to do. Only thing I wish it did was adjust the stroke length but for what you’re paying it really goes a long way. Easy to adjust the needle depth as well as the voltage. Because it has physical buttons and not a touch screen; you can change the voltage without taking your set up apart like other machines. Easy to clean and very lightweight too. If you use the battery it feels almost like a coil machine but a lot quieter and easy on your wrist, but definitely recommend buying a pedal. The width is great if you have small or medium sized hands but for larger individuals like me… you need to use a lot of grip tape or adjust it somehow. Otherwise, your fingers will cramp up after a couple of hours of use. Battery lasts a surprisingly long time, it went for about 6 hrs running non stop and it charges very quickly. Honestly, you will not regret buying this machine if you’re just starting or if you wanna practice. So far I’ve had it for over a month and I see myself using it for a long time. Definitely a great investment and worth every penny.
