We decided to change over our spa to bromine--instead of an expensive spa chemical system that we had been using. So we needed an accurate way to test the water for bromine. After reading reviews and comparing prices, I chose these test strips. The dispenser makes it easy to grab a strip to use. And the results are quick and seem accurate. What more can you ask? The color comparison chart is right on the dispenser, so it's easy to keep up with it. And it's simple to read results-- since you just have to compare the strip color to the dispense color chart. (They do suggest that you use daylight for this. But it seems to work okay in artificial light, too.) You get a lot of strips for the money, so I'm happy about that. The size makes me not feel that I should scrimp on testing as often as I like. So far, our water looks clear and bright using the test results. We're happy!

I like these but I’m convinced the CYA is inaccurate. I started at zero, added more than enough stabilizer to my pool, waited 10 days. I have tested the water numerous times this summer now. Everything else is accurate. Chlorine is holding much longer, but the strips shoes zero CYA still.
