Cute little gift. Got it for my dad because this was always a joke growing up. It says on the insert/instructions that the battery can shift around and u might have to knock it around bit to work. It played music on thw first try but haven't got it to work again. Guess its just a little shelf ornament. Useful for the memory anyway. ... show more

Omg, I use this everyday! I keep it on my desk and the button to turn it on is just higher than the violin so if you set it down you basically created a violin button, all you have to do is press the violin down and it plays the music. A little bit Perfect timing and the sound never gets old!

Garbage. Got it to play noise once, and it was barely louder than a whisper. Makes a distorted little noise, even after using fresh batteries. Do not buy. There is a louder one available that comes with a sad trombone that is loud and works

The quality is better than I expected for such a small item it feels well made and not cheap. The only thing I would say is that I wish the music sounded a bit more dramatic or “tragic” to really match the joke.
