  • Comfort and Breathable Cushion Structure: The combination of pocket springs and breathable foam materials in the cushion structure ensures a fresh and pleasant seating experience. The pocket springs provide excellent support and comfort. While the breathable foam allows for proper air circulation and temperature regulation to prevent discomfort caused by heat and moisture accumulation.

  • 100% Worth The Price 100% Worth The Price
Okay, I only got this chair today, so this is just an initial review after having it for only an hour. I'll update in a few weeks to see how it fares. Currently Feb. 12th The build quality seems very good, the stitching is very consistent and the fabric is very soft to the touch, but not the type of soft that gets warm, I'd say it seems pretty breathable. The color is also so nice and very consistent. It's a very lovely green, not too bright but not dull either. For looks I'd give a solid 10/10. It's relatively comfortable. The padding on the seat is on the more minimal side, so it's not exactly cushy. But, I find it to be comfortable enough, and I appreciate the size of it for sure. It's not exactly "oversized", but I'm 5'4 and 200lbs, and I fit very comfortably in it, with room to put both of my feet up to cross-cross. Not to mention the back and head rests. They're not squishy, they're more on the firm side, but the back rest has a massager in it. It's absolutely lovey (helped the pain my back was in after having to assemble it). Comfort of this chair I'd give a 7/10. It's passing, but it's not super *comfy*. Assembly though... I've only ever put together 3 chairs including this one, but it was certainly the hardest. Was NOT a one-man-job for me, thankfully my dad was able to help. Putting the base together required flat out STRENGTH, and holding some of the pieces up to screw them together, notably the back-rest and the arms, was not feasible by myself. I will say that it was *relatively* straight forward, other than requiring me to reread the same instruction 5 times because they were worded poorly and with small text in the booklet. Could just be my poor direction following skills though haha. I'd give assembly a 5/10. Overall though? I'd definitely re-purchase. However, came with an extended 1yr 6mo warranty, so I shouldn't *need* to re-purchase (hopefully, fingers crossed). I would, though, in the future, and I'd certainly recommend it, even for $180 (which I acknowledge isn't a small price, but it's worth the money). Like I said, I'll update in a few weeks to see how it holds up. I'm not exactly "gentle" with my computer chairs, because I'm always shifting around a lot. So, if it can withstand my abuse and large behind, then it'll get a 10/10 in my book. UPDATE (May 4th): I've had the chair for a few months now. Here are my thoughts. Everything I said about build quality stands true. It's very solid. It has shown no signs of wearing in, even though I'm a bigger girl. My only complain comes from the bolsters on the sides of the seat cushion. They are very firm, and they dig into my thighs. I won't lie, it can be quite uncomfortable. I have pretty thick thighs, and I have to adjust somewhat often because the bolsters start to hurt. It sucks, but if that's the only thing I don't like about the chair, I still see it as a win. It's still comfy, it holds up well, it's very nice looking, all the good stuff. Still highly recommend! ... show more

  • Comfortable, Stylish, and Solid Build
Color: Grey
The Dowinx Gaming Chair exceeded my expectations in both comfort and quality. The pocket spring cushion provides excellent support for long hours at my desk, and the fabric feels soft yet durable. It’s incredibly sturdy and doesn’t wobble at all, even when reclining. The ergonomic design really helps reduce back strain during extended use. I also love the look — the color blends perfectly with my room setup and gives a clean, modern vibe. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Easy to assemble!
Okay so this chair is for me, someone who has chronic pain in my hips, back, neck, and ankles. My husband bought a gaming chair and I went “oh my gosh, duh!” Perfect for people with less than ideal mobility. Pros: The lumbar support is great. The pillow with the adjustable straps is so smart so anyone can make it work regardless of their height. The footrest is awesome. I’m still trying to find ways to use it while typing but I’m sure I’ll find a comfortable way to rest and work. The recliner is super easy to use! This is huge for me. I’ve had over ten office chairs that I could not get to do what I needed. This one is so clear even a child could recline or keep it upright if they needed to. The color! I love this green and it matches all of my home decor. I hate ugly office chairs— last chair I had was actually an accent chair I repurposed because of this. But obviously that chair wasn’t meant for office work so it only lasted a year. The wheels! You might not recognize this as a pro, but having so many wheels keeps it stable but also mobile, which is ideal. I’m used to having to lift or scoot my accent chair, so this feels like a massive upgrade. Assembly! I am the worst about assembly and I usually cry at some point. This was honestly the most straightforward thing I’ve ever built. The effort was apparent with the translations and images. They warn you ahead of time of anything to watch out for. Only took me 40 minutes! Cons: In my head the footrest would be automatic. It’s not, you have to pull it and rotate it out. Not the end of the world for me, but something to be aware of. The butt comfort is good, but it’s nothing to be amazed about. It’s comfortable and works, but it’s not a vacation for my butt like I hoped. Again, unrealistic expectation on my end for any chair. The material is for sure nice, but it’s not as… I guess soft as I thought it would be? It isn’t necessarily a con. I guess I just had in my head the fabric would be a little more plush. I’m thinking this will wipe clean easily, so I suppose not really a con! All in all, this is a great chair. It supports me and can help me relax. The cons are all just my weird expectations, so I recommend this to anyone. I’m also a heavy girl—200lbs— and this chair doesn’t fat shame me with groans or anything like that. It is super great! ... show more

  • Great Chair, Amazing Customer Service
I’ve had this chair for a couple of weeks now, and I’m really loving it! It’s very comfortable, even as someone who changes positions frequently. I really like the reclining aspect, and the size is wide enough that I don’t feel squished by the arms. The adjustability of the arms is very nice also; my desk is a bit on the shorter side so it gives me more options. It was relatively easy to put together, the only part I struggled with was getting the back mounted to the seat but with a second pair of hands it wouldn’t be an issue. It seems very stable thus far. The customer service was also amazing, I had some problems with the delivery but they were able to sort it out quickly and were very helpful. Definitely recommend! ... show more

  • Will update after prolonged use. Will update after prolonged use.
Color: Grey
UPDATE#1: It's been a few weeks now. Right now I'm wishing I would have went with a different chair. I don't think the chair is awful it's just made for people smaller than I am. I'm 5'7 165lbs and I barely fit in the seat if I don't move around. The sides of the seat tend to dig into my thighs and after a few hours they become sore. This chair is really made for a child or a individual smaller than myself. Shipping was a bit of a nightmare as it took a week and updates werent provided but that was because shipping was handled through fedex. Setup for the chair was relatively easy. Directions weren't the best but not a big deal. First thing I'll address is the seat. The cushion is not too firm not too soft. It's nothing special but good enough for me. I will say the size of the seat is made for a smaller size person. I'm 5'7 175lbs and I just barely fit in the bucket style seat. The neck pillow is fine but smaller than I expected. Overall I like the chair, I sit comfortably, and I think it makes a good first gaming chair. I had to knock off two stars because one of the arm rest was smashed on a corner and the top of the back rest had a dent in it too. ... show more

  • Best purchase I’ve made in a long time
I bought this a few weeks ago. Going from a 40$ Walmart spin chair with almost no cushion that would really hurt after 10 minutes to now this chair is absolutely insane. I absolutely love this chair especially since I got it on sale! It reclines farther than I thought it would which I love. Super comfortable. Literally everything about I love. I only wish the arm rests were closer when you recline but that’s not even anything negative as far I’m concerned. I’d give it 6 stars if I could. EDIT. I’ve had this for close to a year now, and it’s still the same as when I bought it. The only thing that I’ve noticed is the bolt on the back does get loose over time. But I’m pretty hard on when I lay back so it might just be me. But again. It’s not something negative because it’s not even that noticeable. I showed my friend this chair and he liked it so much that he got one. My sister in law is even thinking about getting one for her husband. I literally have no problems with this chair. I don’t think I ever mentioned the fact that lumbar has a massage feature. If I lay back in this thing with that massage feature on. Then I’m canceling my plans, because I’m not moving anytime soon. Seriously they could charge more and I’d still be in love with it. I’ve tried to find things I don’t like about it. I seriously can’t find anything, other than I’m not the biggest fan of the arm rests. But they have other models with better armrests. But again it’s not anything negative, it’s just something I noticed when I laid back the first time. Just buy it you won’t regret it ... show more

  • Chair broke in less than 2 years and no responses from customer service. DO NOT BUY Chair broke in less than 2 years and no responses from customer service. DO NOT BUY
You would think for a nearly $200 chair that downix would be bothered to respond to my warranty extension email and follow up emails for that matter. Nope! It's been days with no reply, I am very afraid that if anything goes wrong with the chair in the future you'll be SOL. Good chair but atrocious service or rather the lack thereof. UPDATE: They did respond to email and extended my warranty. Not the best service but they are least got back to me so I want to be fair and update the review and went from 3 stars to 4. UPDATE #2: I have not even owned the chair for 2 years and the metal frame for the back has snapped in two separate places where they are welded together resulting in a broken chair that no longer sits upright at all it has a permanent recline to it and is loose and I contacted customer support and it has been a couple of days and they have not even responded to me of any kind I am now disappointed with both the product and the service I would not buy this for $200 spend more money and get a better chair and better support ... show more

  • This is an excellent office chair
Color: Grey
I sit for extended periods in my home office. This chair although is not my preferred comfort chair, it is the best chair for me at this time due to the leg support. That made it so much more comfortable by far!! It was not a problem to put together, except when attaching the back to the seat, you do need two people. I started timing it but quickly forgot about the clock when I completed the task since I was so excited to sit in the chair. I immediately ran the chair to my office to see how great it fit. It gives me more room by the width. It does not sit as high as I would like but it is enough. I love that the arms are adjustable. They will not begin to peel as with leather. The armrests are very comfortable. The wheels are so free-rolling! I am so overjoyed about this chair! ... show more
