Makes my skin feeling super soft and supple! It is on the higher end price wise but I think it's worth a try. Compared to cheaper serums I have used in the past, this is by far the best quality. I have super sensitive skin and this didn't irritate me at all. If there is a scent, I didn't notice it.

My husband purchased the Resist Super Antioxidant Serum for me and so far I am pleased with the product. Many reviewers mentioned that the consistency was not what they expected and I wanted to say that I enjoy the consistency very much! It is definitely a little thicker type of serum, but it does completely absorb into my skin within a minute or so. I'm wondering if those with complaints might have used a bit too much and their skin had difficulty absorbing the large amount. You definitely don't need much! I've only been using this for about a week, so I can't yet comment on effectiveness. I am using the serum more as a preventative product rather than to treat existing wrinkles and damage. Everything I have read about the importance of antioxidants and their benefit to the skin convinced me to take the plunge and start a treatment regime early. My extremely reactive/sensitive skin is responding well, no rashes or itching or anything like that. I have noticed a glow after application- so that's pretty cool! I apply it in the morning, wait a few minutes, and then apply pure raw shea butter over it. Especially in dry winter waether, a moisturizer is definitely needed in addition to the serum. At night I use .025% tretinoin and La Roche Posay Toleraine Riche for moisturizer and I have not noticed any additional irritation or issues with adding the serum in the morning. I use La Roche Posay Toleraine Purifying Foaming Cream to wash. The serum seems to work great in combination with everything else.

I like the texture and the fact that the serum is calming my combination/very oily skin after use of retinol and BHA salicylic acid exfoliator. It really helps with the skin flaking and the redness. And it doesn’t clog my pores or cause the pimples. This is a problem I have with most serums, but not this one. As for the moisturizing, even though it feels kind of slick and oily when applying to my face it sips in the skin and I need a moisturizer on top of it. I wear it day and night. Having some troubles with caking when applying a foundation. But I think it might be due to the matting quality of my foundation. Maybe it’s time to change my foundation. Serum doesn’t have any noticeable scent. For the record I’m 50 and I have been having problems with my oily skin, enlarged pores, blackheads and pimples since I was a teenager.

While this stuff may feel kind of weird going on (it is a gel, vs. the usual Vitamin C type serum), I really feel it has made a difference in my skin! I have been using it for a couple of months and just purchased my second tube. It feels "greasy" (not oily but gel-like) going on, but does completely absorb into the skin. I use it at night and my skin feels SO soft in the morning. The texture of my skin also feels more refined and smooth. It is nearly impossible to pinpoint every advantage of this product because I use quite a few other skin care products as well. However, because I use this product at night, with only an eye cream added, I know that the amazing feel of my skin in the morning is due to this product. I also think that it has helped SOME with dark spots and with the general refining of my skin texture. Try to give it a few minutes after application before you go to bed. Or do what I do...lay in bed and read for a while and let it absorb before you go to sleep. I'm a side sleeper, so my face smushes all over the pillow...I lay on my back and read a while to let it absorb. Love it!!

I should have read reviews more carefully. Luckily I use this serum under other layers of product. But it gives your skin an extremely oily/shiny look. It's a dealbreaker.
