Just finished assembly which it does recommend 2 people for so if you are like me… well, don’t worry! It was a walk in the park, sure if you are literally step by step it may take a little time but it’s a solid build minus just a few complaints thus far. 1. Could use 4-5 more inches on the footrest to be called a footrest and maybe some more rigidness once fully deployed as well, currently it is my calf-rest, Im 5’10 and unless fully reclined the headrest cushion is more of a neck rest with that weird flat top, not sure if that’s how these racing styles are all meant to be designed as it seems to be that way which has always confused me, sure neck support is needed but it’s a headrest. Have I been using those incorrectly my whole life or do gaming chairs think the definition means it sits on the neck unless reclined? (I know I think too much can’t help it) for this build if you had some sort of adjustable/removable headrest that would of been perfect, design is everything as it would need to be solid and not swivel (one with the chair) as well probably some sort of female*chair body*/male*headrest* scenario so it’s not just rails being guided in the seat itself (sure use rails still for added support/stability) would fit like a glove. 2. The arms… should have been my number one. The headrest could be overlooked but to created a product that relies on moving the back via arm rests so they move with you is both smart and terrible, they need to feel more fixed or at least solid. What I mean is sure they can’t be fixed to move but they wobble and we can’t make the as tight as possible otherwise you can’t recline. Some sort of movable racket that attaches to the base of the chair and back rest to really lock in support would be awesome. Just need them to feel rigid and not flexible (obviously). Out of 5 chairs recently used from art drafting to gaming and office chair I can safely say this is the most comfortable, also the most adjustable back rest with a solid upright position for posture. The chill pad works decently well better than I’d expect at least. It is missing a bit more adjustability height wise, I’m 2-3 inches off the sweet spot of raising and lowering the height itself. Outside of those discrepancies I don’t have any current issues or see any problems, seems solid minus the lack of super rigid arms. They are supportive and comfortable but I tend to use my armrests heavily so we shall see how they hold up. The footrest is what you expect, two solid metal poles, there is a bit of flex and I’m a bit bulky for my height but nothing out of the ordinary, if they bend or stay flexed I’ll update the comment as well but I’m pretty sure the length of the guide rails is supposed to compensate for the flex allowing them to stay straight? We will see lol. The built in massage is nice but more of a gimmick than anything, granted it’s a decent size lumbar but it’s not pushing into the back it’s just kind of buzzing very heavily. Yes you can feel it but more of a loosen muscle massage not a deep tissue or anything more than superficial surface level contact. So would of been a 5 star if it was as hinest as possible with the massager, mentioned the potential feeling of flex in the foot rest but assure it won’t actually flex, also mention a less rigid feel in the arms due to recliner capability but they are guaranteed to provide comfort! If this was done I’d 5 star it, I can overlook the weird neck/headrest issue I have. I’ll try to do one of those updates 6-12 months from now and hopefully this investment was worth while.

So after about a year and a half of using this chair, gotta say I'm a little disappointed in it. Things aren't all negative but it hasn't held up to daily use and the occasional antics of children as well as I'd hoped. Fabric is still soft and comfy, but the cushions are worn quite thin in some places. The arm padding on the right arm is almost non-existent in some parts and a screw underneath it is beginning to poke my arm. The seat cushion is also thinning to where I often have to put a pillow under my bum for extra cush. The left arm is also broken and makes the chair tilt oddly at this point. Admittedly, that's not entirely a fault of the chair. My kids had the bad habit of continually sitting on the arm of my last chair which had been much more beefy and they were not aware that doing so on the new one would weaken it so much, even with reminders. Still, I hadn't figured I'd be considering a replacement less than two years later when previous chairs we've purchased lasted a lot longer and went through being used by first one then the other adult in the household as a hand-me-down. Given that some office chairs can run much more than this I can't say it's a totally bad deal, especially if you get it on sale, just was a bit disappointing since I loved the color options on this chair and really liked how unique it felt compared to so many other boring colors and styles. I enjoyed the recline feature and the extending foot pad. It was also decently easy to put together. So yeah, not a horrible chair but probably better for people who use their furniture a bit more lightly than we do.

This Dowinx Gaming Chair has exceeded my expectations. It’s incredibly comfortable for long gaming or TV sessions, and I’ve noticed a big difference in how supported I feel after hours of sitting. The color is vibrant and unique, and it looks great in our gaming setup. The added pillows are a nice touch, especially the one with the built-in massager. It gives just enough vibration to ease tension in your lower back without being too much. The footrest is surprisingly sturdy, both my husband (6'2", 250 lbs) and I (5'11", 220 lbs) have used it with no issues at all. I also love how easily it reclines. I’m extremely satisfied with this chair. It arrived early, it is so comfortable that as soon as I finished assembling it I made others try sitting in it. The recline is smooth and has a springy feel, not so strong I can’t push it but not so easy I feel like I’m going to fly backwards and I love that it locks in place. The cushions adjust and support my back and neck nicely, I’m 5’1 so that’s uncommon for me and I didn’t even know that it has a velcro cooling pad or the vibration in the lumbar support when I ordered it, but it’s nice to use when I’m sitting for long periods, however you do need to connect it to a USB outlet or power bank and the cooling pad had a smell like those ivy vines people put in their rooms, but you just need to let it air out for a few hours. The footrest is nice but I don’t use it often. Assembly took me maybe 2-3 hours alone with a few errors. It was fairly easy, came with all the tools and had clear instructions, the only part I struggled with was the little feet that the wheels were on. The color of the chair is exactly as pictured with good quality fabric and I love the shade of green. Kudos to the designers, I have never sat in a more comfortable desk/gaming chair. ☺️
