  • Great for boiling water. Kitchen is cooler.
Size: 12“ Vertical 2 Burners
I’ll admit I’m a sucker for kitchen gadgets and small appliances. I bought this cooktop as an emergency device in case the natural gas supply is interrupted by shortages or catastrophe. It's also handy as an extra cooking surface for big meals. While getting it out of the shipping box it slipped and fell to the floor. Fortunately, the product is well insulated from shock with foam inserts, so no damage at all. Works great and so easy to use. Can set temp or power level. ... show more

  • Double-stove induction cooker
Size: 12“ Vertical 2 Burners
I bought a two-stove induction cooker. The firepower is very strong, and all kinds of food are cooked very fast. It's very convenient for me to cook hot pot. One cooks spicy hot pot and the other boils clear soup for children. Very good. The whole family likes it.

  • Beautiful, clean style. Two burners but still operates on 120 V power.
Size: 12“ Vertical 2 Burners
I ordered this cooktop to replace an infrared unit on my boat. I have not had time to install it yet but since it’s designed to be used as a standalone or drop-in unit I started testing it already. My first impressions were great! The glass plate is a very glossy black and looks very high-end. The controls are simple and well labeled. The power settings are one through nine starting at 100W and going up to 1800W. I was curious how that worked given it runs on 120V power supply. 1800W at 120V is 15 amps. In the manual it talks about it in a section named power-sharing. It says “when both burners are on, one of the two burners would not have a power level higher than 1300 W. Both of them together would not be more than the maximum 1800 W. If only one burner is on, the heating zone can maintain its full heat setting, but when operating both burners, their combined total is max 1800 W.” Comparing this unit to a single burner table top model I used previously, the burner area seems a little smaller. The marked area on this unit is a little less than 7 inches across. On the single burner I’m comparing it to, it has an 8 inch marked area for the burner. The spacing of the two burners is definitely a little tight for my large stockpot. I filled a 6 quart stock pot with cold water 1/2 full. It took 20 minutes to bring to a rolling boil. That’s just a little bit slower than the single burner table top unit. When the unit is on and heating it produces some fan noise but I’m guessing once it’s installed as a drop in unit, it will be very quiet. The manual is written in better English than many of the Chinese brands I’ve seen. It covers most of the issues pretty well. There’s one issue with installation that I have not resolved yet. When installing it in a countertop, I would expect some sort of fastener to tighten from the bottom side. The manual makes no mention of that and I found no fasteners for that purpose in the box. There are slots and screw holes on the sides of the cabinet that make me believe there should be a bracket and fastener but I found none. There is a high density gasket around the entire outside edge of the glass top. The manual says “do not seal the cooktop to the countertop. It must be removed if service is necessary.” Also, I have looked through the manual front to back and found no contact information for the manufacturer or the wholesaler. The positives include great looking cooktop, handy to have two burners and still run on 120 V power. Negatives include no bracket or fastener to mount as a drop in unit, no contact information for manufacturer or representative. ... show more

  • Love this cooktop!
Size: 36" Flex Zone 5 Burners
Hello fast cooking. I love that this works with the cookware that I already have. It was easy to install. I did get some protective pads to put on top when not in use. It heats well and stays at the temperature you want. It has been easy to clean and looks great!

  • Easy to assemble
Size: 12“ Vertical 2 Burners
I love that this is plug in and not hardwired like most of the other brands I see. It has gives you an option of having it recessed or just sitting right on the counter top. Make sure you read the direction or you will be very confused on how to work this. Thankfully, they are super clear and easy to understand. ... show more

  • Clean and attractive
Size: 12“ Vertical 2 Burners
I am building a mother-in-law apartment behind my garage, for my elderly parents to stay with me part of the year. I got this two burner electric induction cooktop to install there. My cabinets and countertops won’t be here for another month, so I have not yet installed it. But one thing that’s really great, is that the base only sticks down about 1 3/4 inch below the surface of the countertop, and it is cleanly and smoothly finished on the underside. The cord sticks out the bottom, so it will have to be carefully tidied and fastened in place, but even so, I should be able to install this without losing the top drawer of the cabinet beneath! Note, however, there are no clips or other hardware to hold it in place. The only thing keeping it in place will be its own weight. So it will be important to cut the perfect size hole in the countertop, to keep it stable. It also came with four small screw on feet, so it can be used as a freestanding cooktop. I set it up this way to test it right away. It heats up fast and cleanly. I never had an induction cooktop before and I was struck by how much it resembles cooking with gas. It’s not like those old electric cooktops with the coil heaters. The temperature changes right away and when you turn it off it cools quickly. You do have to have the right cookware but that just means using the good new pots not the battered old ones. I can live with that, in fact it’s probably better because it will prevent bad ideas like heating up items wrapped in foil or on plates or whatever. I also feel the induction is safer for a forgetful elder; they are way less likely to burn the place down if they leave the stove on. It plugs in to a standard 120v outlet, but since it can use as much as 1800w, I am going to have the electrician install a dedicated circuit for that outlet. I don’t want it sharing a circuit with a toaster or a coffee percolator. The form factor is a little small if you want to use both burners at the same time. But we will rarely do that, and for heating up a can of stew or whatever, this will be great. And with no protruding knobs, when it isn’t being used for cooking, it can be used as ordinary countertop work space. ... show more
