  • Adequate
I wouldn't call this suitcase bad, but I wouldn't call it good either. Last year, my 30-year-old, ride or die, carry-on luggage moved on to the big airport in the sky after a harrowing 5 days lost between my home state and the Miami airport. I knew finding her replacement at an economical price was a tall order, so I set out to do some research but became daunted by all of the choices, and I was disappointed to discover that the quality suitcases that would be comparable were fairly expensive. So, this past spring when I was preparing for a trip and still couldn't decide what to get, I decided to buy this one as an interim suitcase because I really like the cupholder/ charger feature. Plus it was an Amazon's Choice, had great ratings and the $60 price tag was hard to beat. When it arrived I was disappointed, though not surprised (at this price point) that the quality was a bit lacking. It didn't feel sturdy at all, the wheels although rubber and with a substantial inset footing seemed cheap and flimsy, the handle was wobbly and the lining was not only not flush with the hard shell (thus providing less space, but it was paper thin and felt like it was going to give at any minute. The zippers. Ha! I didn't expect YKK or anything extraordinary but they were as cheap as they come. I literally used a luggage strap every time I flew with it because I didn't trust those zippers to hold. In the end, it was good enough and I figured it would get me through the few trips I had planned for this spring/ summer and it was. But just barely. After 4 uses, twice on a car trip, once on a plane trip (checked), and once on a cross-country drive that ended in a plane trip (also checked) here's how it did: 1) The large interior zipper has lost both of its zipper pulls. They literally cracked in two. The first one after two uses and the second one after four. The zipper for the same section of the bag has failed twice and no, I didn't overfill it at all. 2) It held quite a bit, even when I didn't have it extended which was nice. 3) The exterior zipper held up okay but the seams are already pulling apart. (That COULD have been from overfilling, but I was able to close it fairly easily so it wasn't THAT full. It also didn't zip easily, even when empty which I didn't love. 4) The hard shell itself is textured and has held up pretty well. I haven't seen any major scuffs or scratches even after being checked twice. 5) The wheels are indeed sturdy. I was dragging it for miles over some gnarly roads, up and down curbs, a few cobbled roads, and up some stairs and they took that just fine. However, they don't roll smoothly at all when the suitcase is full, even though I packed the heavy items on the bottom and OFTEN it would get off balance when I hit a bumpy spot. I ended up pulling it on two wheels like the old-school luggage in order to keep it stable. It also pulled heavy. 6) The handle was wobbly and difficult to raise and lower. It was also difficult to pull the suitcase by the handle when it was full unless you held it on the side, but that was likely due to the not poorly designed wheels. Overall, in spite of that, it was fine but between the wheels and the handle, this suitcase is not easy to pull. 7) The cup holder and charger, are the whole reason I chose this as my interim suitcase, and well, I can't review that because I've never ever used it. Not once. LOL!! I would question how well it would hold a cup or water bottle with the way it falls over all the time. All in all, it's an okay suitcase. I plan to pass it on to my daughter who doesn't travel by air after I find the real replacement for my original old bag. Would I recommend it? Probably not. I do think it's good enough for short road trips, although the cupholder and charger are moot in those instances. But for air travel? No, definitely not. It's not sturdy enough to check and if you have back problems, it's definitely not something you want to lug through the airport. ... show more

  • $53 and get me two pieces of luggage very very
Size: 2 Piece Set Color: Black
It’s a carry-on two piece of luggage it is black it has another carry-on. I enjoyed rolling around in the Airport getting on and off the plane was very easy the wheels move easy it’s just not expendable that was the only downfall it’s not very big but it’s a carry-on, so it can’t be very big, but that expandable feature would have worked for me being gone for 10 days Had to purchase another piece of luggage the cupholder and the charging port worked out beautiful had a two hour layover, took it vantage of the cupholder and charging my laptop and cell phone while waiting at the airport loved it I just wish it had a expendable feature with it. The side is good. The cupholder is great UBS charging port was great just switch it had the expendable feature. The extra piece did come in handy. It had a personal bag with it. you could put it up under the airport seat 💺 it does fit up under there very well. Some of the airports counted as a another piece of luggage but I went on Southwest and had no problem. Spirit might have a problem frontier might have a problem United airlines might have a problem with it I had no problem with the extra small carry on under my seat 💺 or seat in front of me ... show more

  • Fails to Deliver on Promises
Size: 20-Inch Carry-On Color: Olive Green
I recently purchased the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set with Cup Holder and USB Port in Olive Green, specifically the 20-Inch Carry-On model, with high hopes of a convenient and reliable travel companion. However, after using this luggage extensively, I can confidently say that it was a regrettable purchase. This thorough and detailed review aims to provide honest and unbiased feedback to potential buyers, highlighting the product's shortcomings and explaining why it fails to meet expectations. While I understand that experiences may vary, I believe it is important to share my personal encounter to help others make informed decisions. Design and Build Quality: The first impression of the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set was underwhelming. The olive green color appeared faded and lacked vibrancy, giving an overall cheap look. The material used in the construction of the luggage felt flimsy, and I had concerns about its durability even before my first trip. The zippers, handles, and wheels seemed poorly made, which raised doubts about their longevity. Functionality: The primary selling points of this luggage set are the built-in cup holder and USB port. Unfortunately, these features turned out to be more of a gimmick than practical additions. The cup holder is positioned on the side of the luggage, making it almost impossible to access when the bag is upright. Additionally, it lacks stability, causing drinks to spill easily, posing a risk to valuable belongings. As for the USB port, it was a complete disappointment. The charging function was unreliable, frequently disconnecting, and providing inconsistent power output. It is frustrating to have a luggage with such features that do not work as intended. Storage Capacity: The 20-Inch Carry-On model promised ample storage space. However, the design of the interior compartments was inefficient. The main compartment lacked dividers or organizing pockets, making it difficult to separate and locate items quickly. The flimsy lining tore after minimal use, compromising the overall structure of the luggage. Furthermore, the external pockets were not deep enough to accommodate larger items securely. The storage capacity did not live up to its claims, leading to constant reorganization and difficulty in packing efficiently. Maneuverability: One would expect a 20-inch carry-on to be easy to maneuver. Unfortunately, the wheels on the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set were a constant source of frustration. They lacked smooth rotation, often getting stuck or veering in awkward directions. Pushing or pulling the luggage required excessive effort, resulting in unnecessary strain during travel. The telescopic handle was loose and wobbly, adding to the overall inconvenience. Moving through busy airports or crowded streets became a tiresome task, and I found myself longing for a more reliable and effortless experience. Durability and Longevity: The build quality of the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set did not inspire confidence in its long-term durability. During my first trip, I noticed scuff marks and scratches on the exterior, suggesting poor resistance to rough handling. The wheels showed signs of wear and tear after minimal use, making me question their ability to withstand long journeys. The handle mechanism felt weak and unstable, leading me to worry about its potential failure in the future. Considering the price point of this luggage set, I expected a product that would withstand the rigors of travel, but sadly, it fell short in this aspect. Customer Service and Warranty: When I reached out to the customer service department regarding the issues I faced with my Wrangler Smart Luggage Set, I experienced further disappointment. Their response time was slow, taking days to reply to my initial query. Furthermore, their solutions were unsatisfactory, merely suggesting basic troubleshooting steps without addressing the specific concerns I had raised. The warranty provided was limited and did not cover several aspects of the product. It was evident that the company's commitment to customer satisfaction was lacking, leaving me feeling unsupported and frustrated. 1. Security Concerns: Another aspect worth mentioning is the lack of security features in the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set. While it does come with a standard lock, it felt flimsy and provided minimal protection. The overall structure of the luggage did not inspire confidence in keeping belongings secure during travel. The absence of any additional security measures, such as TSA-approved locks or reinforced zippers, raises concerns about the safety of valuable items. 2. Weight Distribution Issues: During my travels, I noticed significant weight distribution issues with this luggage set. Evenly distributing the weight across the wheels proved to be a challenge, resulting in imbalanced handling. This imbalance not only affected maneuverability but also caused the luggage to topple over easily, especially when navigating uneven surfaces or while in transit. It was frustrating to constantly struggle with a luggage that lacked stability. 3. Inadequate Padding and Protection: The Wrangler Smart Luggage Set provided insufficient padding and protection for delicate items. The thin lining and lack of additional cushioning left items vulnerable to damage during transit. I found myself having to be overly cautious and packing extra layers of padding to ensure the safety of my belongings. For a product marketed as a smart luggage set, the lack of adequate protection was a significant disappointment. 4. Limited Color Options: While personal preference may vary, it is worth noting that the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set offered limited color options. The olive green color, which I opted for, appeared dull and unattractive in person. It would have been beneficial to have a wider range of colors to choose from, allowing customers to select an option that suits their personal style and preferences. 5. Price Point and Value for Money: Considering the price point of the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set, it is crucial to evaluate its value for money. Unfortunately, this product falls short in terms of quality, functionality, and durability, making it an unsatisfactory investment. There are alternative luggage options available in the market that offer better features, sturdier build quality, and superior customer support within a similar price range. Conclusion: In conclusion, I cannot recommend the Wrangler Smart Luggage Set with Cup Holder and USB Port, Olive Green, 20-Inch Carry-On to anyone seeking reliable, functional, and durable luggage. From the poor design and build quality to the lack of functionality, this product falls short on multiple fronts. The storage capacity is inefficient, maneuverability is subpar, and the promised features like the cup holder and USB port are more hassle than convenience. Moreover, the questionable durability, coupled with disappointing customer service, further diminishes its value. I highly recommend exploring other options that offer better quality and functionality within a similar price range. ... show more

  • Nice set
Size: 2 Piece Set Color: Teal
I love this set. Worked well for my 4 day trip. Purchased because I did not want to check my luggage, however on the return trip I had to. No scratches, no dings or dents, it held up very well. The only con is the telescopic handle feels somewhat wobbly when fully extended, I chose not use completely extended. Aldo an added bonus I used packing cubes which keeps items more organized and allows extra items if packed properly. Overall I would recommend this set. I bought 2, one for me and one for my husband. ... show more
