The lamp is great, and the customer service is even better! The first lamp I received wouldn't accept a charge. I contacted the company Sunday evening and by Monday morning they had responded and sent a new lamp to me! They were kind, polite, and prompt. The new lantern - which arrived on Tuesday! - charges easily and lights up in several different colors. It's more of a nightlight / ambient light than light to read by. The wall mount is made of metal and quite sturdy. The little magnetic owl is super cute with nice details added. I grabbed this item for my girlfriend for mother's Day, she's always wanted one of these but I unfortunately the first one I received was a dud. Wouldn't power on, wouldn't charge, just a plastic brick, I set up a return and got a new one super quickly only to find out once again got a plastic brick. No power, no indication it's charging whatsoever, no response from the buttons or remote! Huge let down. Be wary of this brand and kudos to those who have purchased one that actually works. ... show more

Adorable illuminated Harry Potter themed light! I got it as a gift for my friend that's super into HP. It lights up nicely and looks cute at night. The little owl is a great addition and adds some charm. It's not fancy, but definitely cute for someone that's into HP and decent value. The light illination is pretty nice, it shows the numbers and isn't super bright, functions perfect for a night light. It's big enough to see easily but isn't huge or in the way. The remote is easy to use and change the different light colors from a distance. The little holder is lightweight but nice looking and easy to setup and hang on the wall.
