I just wanted to say that they did a great job. I got an email before the screen arrived letting me know if I had any issues they would make sure I was satisfied. The screen came in a nice box with everything well packaged. There was even an instruction book, along with all tools and the seal. Installation took about 45-60 min, and was relatively easy. I took all the precautions, like disconnecting the battery. It worked great. When you install make sure you check the touch screen, volume, editing the screen, and brightness. I did, and everything worked. One thing that will happen after install is the Face ID will have to reset, and it will learn you over a few days. That’s why I took time to write this. As it adjusts to you be prepared to be patient. Make sure you install the camera and sensors back into position well, so it functions as the seal is a one shot deal. Mapping out your screws, so they go back in exact order helps. And set up all your pieces where they should go. Other than that this is an easy job for someone like me who is experienced in screen replacement. Just know electronics are a fickle thing, and a lot of times problems arise from not following instructions, or mishandling the product. The media could not be loaded. I carefully read the instructions that came with the screen and it was not difficult to do or understand. (YouTube is also great). KEY NOTE: I powered on the device and I had no touch I let the battery die to restart it since I couldn’t slide to power off. Once I connected it to a charger and it powered on I had Touch again & received the typical apple message about the display. You can also unplug the battery from inside when testing it for touch before you put everything back together if you have more than 2%+ in battery level. ... show more

Save your time and money and find a true OEM screen. This works for a day or two and then Glitches out and goes black. The only way to fix it. Is to remove it again and again to get it to work for another couple of days! We even exchanged it for a new one. Same problem.

    • Almost worth the hassle

I found the installation to be very difficult, especially getting the microscopic screws started. Even when using a magnifying glass, it was difficult to seat the screws in either their hole or on the tip of the screwdriver. There were no specific instructions for the seal, but that wasn't to terribly difficult to figure out. Once I had everything put back together, I was pleased for a few days and then noticed some oddities: 1) The battery drains significantly faster with this screen. A full charge barely lasts a day, whereas I was getting 2+ days before making the change. 2) Touch response is a bit slower. Not terrible, but it is noticeable. 3) The worst part is, after about a month of light use, the screen now loses touch response every few days. I'm forced to use the button reset process (vol+, vol-, hold on/off for 15 seconds) to restart the phone to get touch back. A few times I discovered this when trying to answer a call, and when my earbuds were not handy, I missed the call. Every time this happens, I hold my breath hoping the touch works again. So far, it has always come back. If that changes, I'll update my review. All in all, I'm glad I installed the kit to get some more use of my XR since I new new models were just about to come out when my old screen cracked. I just now see this as more of a temporary fix instead of a long-term solution. ... show more
