Once in place I have to say that this double slackline obstacle course is really really nice. It is well made, solid, sturdy, and lots of fun. We had two trees 45 feet apart and one of them was a silver maple that had a truck diameter of over 24 inches. Based on the ability and height of the kids (ages 7 and 4 1/2) we mounted the lines about 9 feet off the ground meaning that we needed two solid ladders to make that happen. It was very awkward trying to wrap the felt around the tree trunks and keep the line in place. After several tries and we finally gave up on using the felt altogether. The clips that "slide" unto the web line were difficult to slide and since we had a total of 17 of them, it took well over 30 minutes to get them into place. They only slide when the line is loose. We found it easiest if one of us held one end of the line and the other walked (pushed) the clips one at a time. We finally got them evenly divided and fortunately we had all of them pointed the same direction. It would have been extremely frustration to move them all again if we had accidentally had just one of them installed wrong, so watch out for this. Moving the clips was the most challenging thing about setting this up. It took us three tries of tightening the line before we had clips property spaced on the line. We started out using the "Lilys Things" imprints on the line to space things. We found that a 28-inch spacing between clips was ideal for our situation, but it took us several time of tightening the line and then moving them into place before we got to that point. It is impossible to move the clips when the line is tensioned so each time, we had to drop it (or slack it) and then reposition it. It took two of us with two ladders working together about two hours to install. Give yourself plenty of time and grace to get this thing in place. However, once up and the features in place it is awesome. This thing is well made, and it looks like the kids can spend countless hours having fun on it. It is plenty strong enough for adults as well. We ourselves felt like Ninja's after the work was done. Time will tell if they play on it longer than it took us to install it. ... show more

This was a nice quality product however, it did not stay tight against the trees. When my kids tried out the rings, when they grab the left-hand side, the right side goes up, making it impossible to reach. Also took almost 3 hours to install & a tall ladder which had to be carried back & forth. Overall difficult to use even for athletic children. Sad this did not work out for us. ... show more

Double line is a great Design, excellent quality of product and attachments…Ours is used all the time taken up and down multiple times multiple years… played on by children and adults…setup & use ability Takes a bit of effort, thought, calculation, “common sense” therefore most complaints are unjustified … Height of line and each item with sag and difficulty needs to be accounted for… attachment links cannot be moved Once line is tight.. would have to purchase nearly double attachments to make 55 foot line full.. ... show more

Bought the 50' version of this to put up in our yard. It took a couple of times to get it up correctly, which wasn't totally unexpected just because of all the steps need followed precisely. After getting it up, it takes some effort to get the obstacles lined up correctly. All of that was ok and expected. As for the kids getting on, our 6 year old couldn't really stay on the swing. It bounces too much and his flat, stiff and slippery. It's not like the rubber swings that he's used to where they wrap around his bottom and keep him on securely. Our 9 year old daughter, who is in level 4 gymnastics also struggled to get up the slippery nylon rope and to swing from obstacle to obstacle. It takes a lot of effort to swing while bouncing up and down and when you let go of one obstacle, the other obstacle bounces up in the air before you can grab it. I'm not saying this isn't a great product. If you have kids that are totally into ninja, it could be a great product. For our kids, not so much. ... show more

THE QUALITY IS GREAT! I only gave it 4 stars because the 110 foot line doesn’t have enough stations to put them close enough for smaller kids to reach and use the whole length. Our trees are 44’ apart so the longer line was needed. We also purchased the rickety bridge and even with that there’s still a lot of unused line. Next year I might buy another bridge. It took 4 adults almost 3 hours to install. The most difficult part was trying to set the buckles in the approximate area while the line is on the ground. It is expectantly difficult to move them when the line is tight. ... show more

Installation was pretty simple except for lining up the attachments. It's really difficult to move them once the slack line is tightened. Also, the kit does not come with enough attachments to fill the line out, so you need to buy more along with the hanging pieces, which are overpriced.
