It is crazy fast, boiled water instantly, literally took like 10 seconds! Bought this because I needed a timer. Timer works. Previously I bought a Cuisinart convection cooktop which said it would cut off automatically after 2 hours but it didn’t. So I’m very glad the Nutrichef timer works 😊 Can use both sides at the same time up to 300 degrees each. That’s hot enough to fry so it works for me. Any higher than 300 degrees on one side decreases the temperature of the other side. Guess that’s how the two sides share the 1800 watts. This is the greatest thing EVER for taking with us in the camper! There isn't much space in it to begin with, and burners are at a premium and trying to cook for so many kids can get rough with two burners, so having this extra two was a huge improvement. Then there's the fact it's pretty slimline and can store right in the bottom pull out cabinet drawer without needing any extra bells and whistles to keep it in place. And it's FAST. Heats up my anodized skillets quick AF and the food cooks faster than ever, also super important when the kids have been playing and starving and ready to eat NOW lol. I like being able to clean it off so easy. A little windex goes a long way.
