This kind of double-double end boxing bag is also known as a Mexican double end bag or a peanut bag because it's unique shape. It functions the same way as a standard ball shaped double end bag but due to its unique shape, the center of gravity is shifted a little bit so it's a bit more difficult to consistently strike, which should improve your form and reflexes. I actually prefer it to my standard double end bag. The stitching on the ball is tidy but only single stitched, but I do wish the attachment points at least were double stitched for some extra reinforcement or support. I've had this bag for about a month now and use it maybe a couple times a week and it's held up fine, but time will tell about durability. A pump is included and the gas port is located at the top/bottom of the bag which is smart because if you're using the bag bare-fisted you won't accidentally hit the nozzle and tear up your knuckles. The pump is easy to use. First time you fill up the bag, do it to partial fullness (I'd say about 90%) for the materials to settle in. A lot of people will make the mistake of over pumping the bag from the get go, which can cause quick ruptures of the internal air bladder. The straps and cords are of a decent quality. They are length adjustable and the ends are crimped with a plastic tubing to guard them from fraying. They don't seem firmly attached though and can slide off over time. The carabiners are pretty standard and work fine. The eyelet screws included will best work on a wood mounting surface, but standard tube drywall anchors are provided in case you want to set this bag up on a drywall ceiling. Since this isn't a heavy bag, the anchors should work fine, but your mileage may vary and you'll need to drill in a pilot hole to accomodate the anchor. Finally, instructions and a carry bag are included. Overall, this is a solid double-double end bag to improve your reflexes and I've enjoyed using it so far. Recommended.

This is really a great product, comes with everything you need to set it up with the exception of what you will attach it to on both ends but even includes the hardware for that. It’s a good size, adjustable based on height of user and fun to use too. Honestly, my only wish is that the rope/tethers were made differently or there was an added option to make it stay tied better at both ends. It’s a great cord that holds it but they have instructions on how to tie it at both ends to get it just right to use. My only issue is that even tying it just like the instructions show, it really doesn’t stay very well and comes easily untied. Not such a big deal if you only needed to tie it once at each end but you need to do about 4 knots minimum at each end and when you start hitting it, these knots come undone. There has to be a better way to keep the knots tied. Maybe I will even try a zip tie or something to see if I can get it to stay. It’s worth trying and hoping it works but over time if it doesn’t, it may become somewhat of a pain.

This is a light duty bag that should be ok for home use. You can see in the pics that it has plain seams, not welted or double stitched. The straps also are not reinforced where they attach to the bag. Using the pump and needle provided, I inflated the bag until it was 7” diameter with about 1/2” of give under hard thumb pressure. After 3 days, the bag seems to hold pressure adequately. The elastic ropes are ok. They have crimped loops protected by shrink tubing. One of the shrink tubes fell off after I punched the bag for a few minutes. The carabiners and screw eyes provided are a little on the cheap side as far as size and quality. The carabiners have uneven plating, and sharp edges on the pivot pins which also look like they’ll fall out shortly. I don’t know what they were thinking in providing drywall anchors. The screw eyes definately need to go into solid wood, and not just sheetrock. Better yet, just get some 3/8” diameter hardware and do a quality installation. Hoping that this bag will be durable. I’ll update if it has a problem.

The instruction really only show how to tie knots. No diagram or photo of the full lenght of the ball and its cables connecting to the ball top, bottom or anchors. Needs a photo show the entire extent and components from the anchor to the support from ceiling or frame. I had to look hard at the images on the listing listing and video to see how the cables hook to the ball and from ceiling support and to the anchor. Still not sure I got it right. Does not say how much psi to blow the balls up to. I used a battery operated air pump with a pressure gauge and pumped it to 1 psi. I am new to boxing and I will need to watch some YouTube videos to see some good form to use with this boxing bag, but looking forward to improving my upper body strength and getting a good workout. I have basically set up an outdoor boxing area for exercise and working out stress and frustration on the boxing bag.
