Sturdy mounting brackets that made my stereo installation much easier I used this double DIN mounting bracket kit while installing a new radio into a boat that did not have a mount, and it worked exactly as I hoped. The brackets are made from solid metal and feel strong right away when you take them out of the package. They do not feel flimsy or thin, which gave me confidence that they would hold the stereo securely once everything was installed. After mounting the unit, it felt very stable with no shifting or movement. Plenty of holes, will fit any double DIN stereo easily. Hardware is quality and th bracket does not feel flimsy. I have not had any issue with this bracket bending or shifting even using it on a boat. The package includes two brackets and eight screws, which was everything I needed for the installation. The screws fit the brackets perfectly and tightened down securely. The size of the brackets worked well with my double DIN stereo and there was enough support on both sides to keep the unit firmly in place. You may need different screws for your radio, but that should have come with your radio but can be found at a hardware store also. Installation itself was straightforward. I just positioned the brackets on the stereo, aligned the holes, and used the included screws to secure everything. Once mounted in the dash, the stereo felt solid and properly supported. Kinda hard to be descriptive of an item like this so forgive the short review . Simple braket for attaching a new head unit. Pretty thick not flimsy like most. seems well made comes with mounting screws. Allowed me to install a new 10.1 inch unit in my 08 sierra alligned perfectly .
