The case is overall good. It makes your mysteriously light macbook pro feel rugged and secure- without adding too much weight. Sometimes the case clips off the computer and I find myself having to re-snap it in place. It isn't much work to do but can get tedious at times. The included keyboard case is pretty bad. I would advise not to use it at all as it left a film of dye on my screen which, thankfully, cleaned off after I used some isopropyl alcohol. The screen protector is also a no go as it is nearly impossible to install without bubbles. Overall a decent case that's better than most and will hopefully do a good job in protecting your $1200+ investment. ... show more

I got what I thought was a protective case when I bought my Mac, but it was little more than a pretty shell that cracked easily and was in the trash in less than six months. This case is incredible. It's very sturdy, installs easily, and I can't help but love the keyboard cover! I didn't think that I would use it, but I threw it on just for a test run and there was no turning back. This is a violet purple case and IM TELLING YOU THE PICS DONT DO IT JUSTICE, this is one of the only hard covers i could find and it looks so aesthetic reminds me of the jelly macs back in the early 2000's which is so in right now. It takes a little elbow crease to pop it on but it goes in place with a little push, I love the little legs on the bottom its one of the reason i chose this, as you know with laptops they overheat being placed flat on surfaces. This cover is so cute and durable and now it looks like i have a mac from early 2000s its so aesthetic I also received the keyboard cover and a screen protector but I bought a keyboard shortcut keyboard cover so didn't need it. ... show more

Took a little time to get it clicked in perfectly but once it’s on it’s really nice. My favorite thing is that it really doesn’t show fingerprints and it seems like it’s going to provide a lot of protection for my new MacBook Pro. It’s worth a few more dollars to protect my investment. Exactly as advertised. The only issue is the case covers up the usb plug-Ins. Had to cut out a small portion of the case to allow the adapter to fit properly. Good addition for my Mac.
