Easy to install. Simple clean look. The brackets, while sturdy, are a bit extra industrial / heavy duty looking. They stick out further from the wall than I expected, but I see thats necessary for the folds of curtain fabric. Because the front curtain rod does not curve back to hide the edgeof the back curtain, you can see the curtain that's closer to the window. I made the back rod shorter to try to hide it a bit. Installed twice as we had to install in a stud for at least two of three supports (first attempt fell). Perhaps we just have very heavy curtains. We weren't happy with the connection bits paired with curtain rings as the rings kept getting stuck in the connection lines and were very hard to move/glide across. We are going to try to purchase thicker-diameter rings to see if that helps. ... show more

This is a beautiful rod but needs different brackets. The brackets that come with it are very long, make sure to check the dimensions listed in the advertisement. This makes the rod stick from the wall significantly and it most likely will be a deal breaker for me. I found shorter brackets on Amazon that you can purchase, if you are ok with paying little more ($10-$16). Im sure the rod will look better after I install the inside-shears, but still doesn’t fix the issue that the curtains are away from wall and letting the heat/cool air in/out. For that reason I’ll be adding different brackets or returning, I haven’t decided yet. ... show more
