While I have played guitar for years, this is my first experience with a ukulele. In terms of looks, the blue color is beautiful, with a glossy finish, and the tuners and frets seem solid. Initial tuning required a few rounds with each string, but that is to be expected. In my first weeks of playing it, I was disappointed in the sound quality; it just sounded too much like a toy to me. After a bit on online research, I purchased a set of titanium ukulele strings (super affordable), as well as a set of uke bridge beads (pricey), which provided a noticeable improvement in tone. Others may be happy with the out-of-the-box tone, but for me, those upgrades were worthwhile. The accessories included with this uke, particularly the tuner, bag, and strap, make this a very nice starter set.

This ukulele kit comes with a storage bag which I appreciate, as well as a couple other accessories like picks and a cleaning cloth. For some reason, the picks I received had some duplicate colors rather than different ones like the picture shows. I think for the price, this kit is reasonable and includes a lot of nice extras. I did have a lot of trouble putting on the strap as well as getting the tuner to work. I ended up tuning the ukulele by ear - however if you are a beginner to music then tuning it may be hard to do for the first time. Overall a fun kit and this could work as a gift for a music beginner!

Started playing guitar with my young son awhile back and wanted something small we could take on camping trips on the motorcycles. This little Ukelele fit the bill though we've a hard case as well. Aside from the case purchase this kit includes everything else we wanted. The spare strings, picks, strap and tuner were all very nice additions, the polishing cloth is one of those things I don't tend to use but nice to see and the storage bag for inside storage. The size is perfect for motorcycle packing and for us to easily pass back and forth. Its a fantastic time around campfires out in the wilderness. It has good sound and for beginners or experienced players, everyone should enjoy picking away with this. Priced right for unlimited fun and great entertainment. If you're on the fence about a Ukulele which comes with everything you'd want to start playing then just order this one now. I ponied up and bought the black one and its finish and appearance is fantastic. You can't go wrong with this little kit.

I am so excited to start playing this and not just annoying my wife and cat...although it has been fun so far. The ukulele itself is really nice and smooth, and it has a good sound, on one string. That's all I have tuned so far. It comes with a digital tuner that is really easy to use. I just downloaded the app and you get 7 lessons for free, which should be a good start for me. The app is "Donner Music", and then you just scroll down to the ukulele section. Also easy. The instrument also comes with a strap, a cleaner rag, an extra string, and 4 picks. Everything you need to start out, as well as break a few parts. I thought this would be a great starter guitar, since it is fairly small and less intimidating. We have a bunch of neighbor friends that all play guitar, bass, keyboard, etc., and all I can do is tap my foot on the floor, so kind of worthless so far. This is going to be a great hobby.

This is a superb starter kit for anyone wanting to play the Ukulele. The set has all you need to get playing. The Uke comes prestrung and the tuner is a great throw-in. The carry bag us surprisingly heavy to keep it safe when transporting. Has a beatiful look and would be easily confused with a more expensive instrument. Love all the extras (picks, cleaning cloth, extra strings). Wife LOVES strumming away in this little jewel. Great Value ☆☆☆☆☆
