We've had a Dolphin pool cleaner since we moved into our new house 5 year ago. We had a terrible storm come through and lightning struck near or in our pool and the cleaner was in the pool at the time. It fried the control box but the Dolphin cleaner was fine. We needed a new way of passively cleaning our pool. We did the wrong thing an purchased a different cleaner which just seemed more of a hassle and we missed "Arthur" (what we named the Dolphin). Purchased this to replace the OEM switch for our Dolphin pool cleaner which failed. I don't need the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connection. This works perfectly.

    • Power button failure
Do not waste your money. I replaced my original box with this one vs buying a new cleaner. $300 mistake. After only 1 summer this power box failed the same way. Even though the robot cuts off the Powerbox lights do not, causing the heat generated form the LEDs around the power button to cause an issue with the ability to cut the unit on and off. Very poor engineering flaw that I had hoped would've been resolved by now. Robot works great, but you have to babysit it and that is not possible with a full-time job and family. ... show more

My old box stopped working and started to short out. I ordered this one and it works great. It doesn’t come with a power cord so you will have to purchase that seperate which is kinda disappointing because it’s a 300.00 purchase it should come with that as well. That is the reason for the 3 stars
