This is working great for my 6 month old, 50 pound Labrador after she was “fixed”. She can’t reach the incision. She can pee and poop without getting the shirt messy. I bought two different different brands because I wasn’t sure how they would fit around the crotch area so she could still go to the bathroom easily on her own. This one fit her the best. I will return the other one. This brand fits perfectly. It did loosen up a tiny bit after she’s worn it around for the afternoon, Which may actually make it a little more comfortable for her. She’s not used to wearing clothes. At first, we brought her home after the surgery with the cone on her neck. It was hard for her to navigate, eat and drink. She actually wasn’t drinking very much because it was hard for her to fit the cone around the bowl. The cone was uncomfortable for her trying to sleep. This Onesie resolved all of those problems and is making our doggy a much happier girl. I will likely buy another one for her

I never give write reviews but I am so impressed with this surgery suit, here I am! The suit fit my puppy so well and it seems very comfortable for her. She will never wear a sweater but she did not mind this outfit at all and in fact, I feel like she was upset when I took it off! She was able to go to the bathroom and it never got soiled. She never tried to get it off and the snaps on the back held very well. I feel like you really get what you pay for on this item!!

My princess was recently spayed and a friend recommended one of these. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the fit seemed a little big. She wasn't thrilled to wear it, but it was perfect to keep her from licking.

The things I like about this are: - It snaps in the back and stays snapped, even with all the moving around - it covers the belly area, for a Spay surgery, but leaves open her privates so she's still able to do her business without me removing it everytime. - it's light weight and fairly simple to get on The things I don't like about it: - it runs really small. I bought an XL (went by size dimensions) and my pup is 29.2lbs so it should have been plenty big on her and it just barely fits. Maybe this one was mislabeled? Either way, disappointing. - it seems to be easy to snag and get holes in If I ever did purchade again, I'd definitely buy 1 size larger than the listed sizes say.

My husband and I foster rescue dogs. The pup we are taking care of now was spayed a couple days before we picked her up and she absolutely hated the cone that the vet put on her. I read about these type of recovery outfits and thought this would be a way better option. We measured her and were surprised to see we needed to order a medium (she's a 13 pound dog). But I went according to the sizing chart and purchased a medium. When it arrived we put it on her to check how it fit before washing and it fit. I noticed that around the hole you could cut out for a male there was a very thick, rough fabric underneath the stitching. But I thought maybe it would soften up after being washed. I washed it on cold and dried it on low. When it was dry I noticed that the fabric under the stitching was still extremely rough. I didn't want to irritate her wound but it seemed it would easily close the same way inside out so that's how I put it on her. I could tell right away that it had shrunk considerably. While the clasps held tight, the fabric was now buckling from too much pull. And the length of the outfit was also shrunk quite a bit. Before washing, the neck hole sat nicely around her neck. But after washing I was having trouble even keeping it over her shoulders. I tried stretching it out and that helped some but not enough. We went to sleep and in the morning it was completely off her. So it ended up being completely useless. Thankfully she didn't upset the incision while we slept. I wouldn't buy this item again for the reasons I mentioned, but if you choose to definitely size up!!

I ordered an XL for my 38 pound Aussie doodle and it fits her perfect!! She got spayed today and I didn’t want to force her to wear a cone, and didn’t want to take the chance of my other dogs kicking her incision, and it’s doing the job!

i have a small chihuahua about 8 or 9 lbs so i ordered a medium..its exactly what i wanted. and it so soft and comfy but.... its very short in length so it was way down her neck and the front feet were not able to move right .thats where it was to tight so i wasnt able to use it..
