The media could not be loaded. I bought this to keep my Hyundai Santa Fe a bit more secure. There were a string of thefts in my area of certain Hyundai and Kia model vehicles. Hyundai does provide a steering wheel lock for free but all the dealerships in my area were out of them. So, I went ahead and bought this instead. First, this is very easy to install. Just loop it around your steering wheel and click into the seatbelt buckle. It took a minute for me to get the hang of removing it with the key. You need to turn the key and push down at the same time. Now, it’s easy to do after some practice. This lock feels pretty solid and I’d imagine it’d be hard for a thief to get off without a pair of bow cutters. Even if they’re lugging one around, it would take some time to cut through this and usually they’re looking for a car that they can quickly grab-and-go. So I feel good knowing that this will at least deter them from taking my car. Overall this is a pretty solid option to protect your car for the price and I’m glad I went with this one vs the more expensive options I’ve seen. The extra window breaker took they included is a really nice touch, too.

We recently had one of our vehicles stolen from the driveway over night. Luckily we got it back 4 days later, unharmed & in tact. It was thrashed of course. But that’s beside the point… We purchased one of these devices in hopes (fingers crossed) that it will help deter other thief’s. We like the way it performs so we’re considering buying a few more for our other vehicles as well. It went on pretty easily. The lock is a little tricky, but it functions. It may get easier to install / remove with time. For the cost and quality, I am content. **My only concern is: If all the devices work the same, does this mean that they also work with interchangeable keys from other similar devices? *One key fits All???

I like this better than the steering wheel lock because it doesn’t look so funky. It’s a subtle but effective way to add some protection to your vehicle. I have a small sedan and it fits perfectly. Easy to use and hook on and off the seatbelt. It would be 5 stars but my only thing is the key is a little bulky for my liking. Other than that, this is a great purchase.

After having my 2016 Kia Optima vandalized for the 3rd time in 2023 I needed to have some peace of mind. I leave no valuables in my car, but I assume thieves want to ransack anyway after breaking a door window. This recent time was also an attempted steal and my steering column has been damaged. Because I cannot get the car to the dealer for over a month I was nervous that they would return to the parking lot and finish the steal. Amazon got this locking unit to me overnight. So easy to install. This will be used every day going forward. I recommend this to everyone to keep your vehicle secure. The quality is excellent and the key to unlock is very sturdy and easy to remove the locking system.

I bought this as a little piece of mind on my new Bronco. It fit great. Locked right into position and the locking mechanism works great. I dont think it will stop a seasoned thief but itll stop the guy who scans my key while I'm inside and tries to drive away.

This product is easy to lock and unlock. Not as unattractive as the club type. I was concerned to use it at first thinking it wouldn't be long enough, or that I would not be able to unlock. It proved to be very convenient. I have not tried it for any other purpose yet but sure it will work well to lock things down. Happy shopping.

With Kia being the target of a “challenge”, we wanted to add a theft deterrent. Like most security items, this won’t stop a dedicated thief, but I believe it will deter a 15 year old trying to steal the car on a dare. It is easy to use and takes about six seconds to loop around the steering wheel and plug into the seat belt buckle.
