The media could not be loaded. This suit is a “Game Changer” for dogs to be treated "way" better than those “Jokingly Shame Collars” they put on a dog just out of “MAJOR SURGERY”. It was so tight on her neck she couldn’t drink some water. “GROSS” to say the least! I immediately took it off and she was so damned happy! I searched and purchased this little CUTE outfit for her. Just love the look of it on her. Its “VERY” nice looking, feels so soft, stretches and keeps her incision clean and dry. Goodness “She loves it”; she can move freely, eat freely, run around and keep herself clean and dry. The suit is a bit to long for her, about 2” too long. I put safety pins in it to shorten the length and surprisingly poked holes in her cute outfit. Overall I would just adjust it when it got too long and hanging on her butt. But the suit “NEVER” got any pee or poop on her little outfit. She played outside and got her little outfit dirty. I washed the outfit several times and surprisingly it didn’t shrink! I tried my darnedest to shrink the length to no avail. Wow, I was amazed! I just love the color, the stripped pattern and the material it is made out of. Fits GREAT… Our little girl loves it… Would purchase another if I needed another! Great find! Seller delivered item next day service; it was packaged well and is as described. We had our 6 month old Cavapoo spayed last week, and not surprisingly, she hated the cone of shame. It made it hard for her to eat and maneuver. Our vet had recommended getting a body suit for her, so we ordered this one from Amazon. The material is nice and soft, like a T-shirt, and there is a little extra padding on the belly over where her incision is. It has a little bit of stretch to the material, but not so much that it gets stretched out. The leg holes and the neck hole have extra material sewn around the holes, and it is soft and hasn't rubbed or caused any irritation in those areas. The snaps on the back of it work well. Best of all though, is that she can go outside and pee and poop without having to take it off. With some of the other bodysuits we looked at, you had to roll up the back of it when you let your dog out. You have to do absolutely nothing with this bodysuit. Just let your dog go out as usual. She has been wearing it for 4 days and I have seen no staining from her going potty. I let it air dry, so can't speak to if it shrinks in the dryer, but it washes well. The medium fit my 12 lb Cavapoo well. It wasn't too tight, and fit her well length-wise. She didn't like it at first, and rolled around on the ground trying to get it off, but after that she hasn't even seemed to notice that she has it on. She kept trying to lick her incision when we took the cone of shame off to feed her, but this suit completely covers her incision so she has not been able to get to it. And it is really cute too. I would highly recommend. Works wells for my female dog.

After reading a ton of reviews of a lot of products I decided on the recovery suit. It fits my little ten pound shin tzu perfectly. The suit is very soft and lightweight so she is not uncomfortable. It is very easy for her to do her business without a problem. I also like that there are snaps on the top so it is easy to get the suit on and off her. It was recommended not to get the ones with Velcro as the hair gets caught in the Velcro. Yesterday my dog was spayed and the vet had on her a recovery suit but is was heavy and I thought too big and it had to be snapped and unsnapped every time she need to go and I was so glad I bought this one ahead of time. Yesterday I ordered a second one and it is arriving today. Thank you to all the reviewers that helped me out.

This was purchased for our small, female dog (12 lbs) following surgery that resulted in 2 long incisions: along the rib cage and lower torso). The small size fit ok. It was a bit snug (It did not shrink when washed). I liked the design for the back end. It did allow for most urinating and defecating to happen without incident, although there were a few times when the elastic edging was soiled. To prevent this, we simply left the hind legs out of the garment when our dog was going to the bathroom (and we also ordered a second one to have while the other was being washed). The snaps worked well and are probably the best option. Fur can get caught by velcro or a zipper. The fabric is thin, but I found that as beneficial in warmer weather. I felt it also allowed the. wound to breath a bit. My dog does not like any garments and so it helped to prevent hind leg scratching of her sutures. If she did scratch, at least her nails would not catch on the sutures. My only other complaint is that there was not a better pattern option (dots or flowers). The stripes give her a old school prison-vibe.

I bought the XL, XXL, XXXL because my medium Bernadoodle is between sizes. I tried so many onesies and returned them all. This time: I kept the XL and XXL, but sent back the XXXL even before I took it out of the package. Our pup has a long slender body - length 22", petite with long legs and only 35 lbs. The XL pulled slightly tight for length. However, the stretchy light material is a plus. The XXL was slightly long and leg openings a little too loose. I washed both sizes and let air dry. Both onesies fit perfectly now. The shrinkage was minimal. Another plus: Hazel steps into the holes. Zipper is on back and the loose neck fits well below the neck line. She did the squirm dance to get it off but we are making it a game until the day she needs it (keeping the cone available in case she pulls a Houdini ! ) I highly recommend this.
