My pup (14 yrs old) had smelly ears that I was sure was infection. I got this just to see if it helped. I was so sure it was infection I did a virtual visit the vet. They were sending antibiotics. This came first so I tried it because she was in pain. The smell went away after 2 uses. It did come back but she had stopped crying and shaking her head. I did get her antibiotics and a bunch of discharge came out and I used this product to clean her ears and install more antibiotics. This stuff is great. I will use after baths and in between to keep infection at bay. She has never had an ear problem ever.

My dog has always been a digger and he's always getting dust and debris causing him to have smelly ears this ear cleaning solution is great and it's gentle enough to get the job done without stressing out my dog the solution doesn't have any sent to it and it's easy to use

Worked very well for cleaning both dogs ears. One of them was being treated for a yeast infection in her ear at the time. Yes I would buy again. Was reasonably priced. The tip wasn't curved like the picture but it is a clear rubber material that's soft and easy on the ears.

This item is easy to use. Seems to work fine. I have two large dogs. Neither of them seemed to be bothered when I put the drops of solution in their ears. It is really nice to have instructions on the bottle for how to clean the dog's ears properly. I always used to just put some solution on a cotton ball and rub inside the dog's ears with it. The bottle advises you to (1) put some solution on a cotton ball and clean the outer part of the ears. (2) Put a few drops of solution in each dog's ears and message the ears to rub it in. (3) Let the dog shake it out. (4) Use dry cotton balls to wipe out the wax/dirt inside the ears. I saw my vet clean my dog's ears last year, and he did the same thing this bottle recommends. He did a better job than me. I believe he used a lot more solution is why. One of my dogs never has dirty ears, so I didn’t get much dirt or wax from her ears. My second dog has ears that hang down like a hound dog's ears. Hers are always significantly dirty. She recently had an ear infection (before I got this product by the way). She is the one that had her ears cleaned by the vet, therefore they were not too bad either. After I cleaned them, however, I could still see quite a bit of wax down in her ear that I feel like I should have been able to wipe out. I’ll try next time to get the solution to drop in that part of her ear. The bottle says the solution will break up the earwax to help remove it. It is a little difficult to aim where it lands in her ears. Both of my dogs handled the cleaner fine. My hound dog didn’t shake her head at all, however. My other dog shook hers once. My second dog (a boxer) hates and resists me doing anything like brushing her teeth, and especially clipping claws. I have to clip on claw every few days with her. The vet once told me to try to use liquid bandage on her once, but as soon as I opened the bottle and she smelt it from a distance, she wouldn’t come near it. This item, she handled really well. I was surprised that she was ok with me squirting solution into her ears, since that seems like it would be uncomfortable. She didn’t react negatively at all. She didn’t enjoy it of course but stayed perfectly still for me. Clearly it doesn’t have a smell that she didn’t like also. I have no complaints with the item. I still have to try to get that waxy stop in my hound dog’s ears, however. It is difficult to determine how well things like this work. Perhaps overtime and with comparison to other brands. Therefore, I can’t fully commend on that. But the bottle is easy to use. Comes full with useful instructions that I’d say are very accurate since my vet did the same. The dog’s handled it much better than I expected. Therefore, based on that’s, especially the last part about my dog’s handling it, I’d recommend this item.
