I wanted to try using these on my dog's food when I was sure there was nothing new or different that he was consuming, so I could gage whether he had a bad reaction to it. Today was that day. I had opened the packaging before, and realized that there were individual packages inside the main bag, with one serving size amounts of the powder to sprinkle on the dog's food. He was happy with it when I put it on his lunch today, and didn't seem to notice the smell, which I didn't like so much. But it was easy to open the individual serving bit, and easy to sprinkle it out on a loaf type food. He has had no intestinal distress, nor has his behavior changed in any way, so I consider that a win. I won't be able to speak to whether it actually affects his immune health or helps his skin, but I'm confident whatever vitamins and minerals in it will help my elderly rescue boy at least. They do have an expiration date on the large bag, which makes me feel good about its freshness. It seems to be made mostly from pork-by-product, which is 45% of each individual sachet, although that may also include the 10% fat. The odd bits are that it claims to have 10% moisture at a maximum, and 10% ash. The silicone dioxide I assume is a preservative. My boy has a flea allergy, so I want to help support his skin health during the summer season, but I just may take a packet to my vet and see what she thinks about the ingredients. Says it's good for cats & dogs.

My dog is very picky and is willing to eat this in her food which is good enough for me. She does have some dry skin and allergies issues. After a month of using I have noted slightly softer fur. Overall it seems promising.

I ordered this because I noticed that my dog was scratching excessively and licking his paws often. Haven’t seen any fleas so I am assuming it’s allergies. He’s been on this product for nearly three weeks and the good is that he seems to like the taste and eats anything that has this sprinkled on it. I have also not noticed any ill effects such as diarrhea from giving this to him. On the downside? I haven’t noticed much, if any, improvement in his scratching and licking. It could be dry skin or even the fleas that I discounted so I cannot say that this product doesn’t work-I just can’t say with any certainty that it does. The company claims that it is backed by four US patents which tells me that they feel they’re onto something that works though. I like that this was created and manufactured in the US. It’s easy to use although I’m confused that one sachet a day would be good for a five pound cat or an eighty pound dog. That doesn’t make sense to me. My Amazon rating system- Five stars-Great item. May have a minor flaw that does not detract from appearance or function. Four stars-Great item. Flaw or problem more noticeable. Or, price may be high for what it is. Three stars-Good item. Has a flaw/problem that requires more work than should be invested in a product. Two stars-May be a good item with work. Or, doesn’t work for me but may for someone else. One star-Nope. Doesn’t work for me and probably won’t for anyone else.

My dog is still recovering from his long-term food allergies. What interested me in this product is the animal protein source it is derived from: pork. It is a less popular protein included in commercial pet food products when compared to beef and chicken, so if you've been feeding your pet mostly from store-bought pet food sources, then it is likely your pet hasn't had a lot of exposure to eating pork and thus likely not allergic to it. Makes sense why pork is in this product. This powder supplement is packed into small individual packets, making it convenient to pour over your pet's food during mealtimes. I would recommend sprinkling it on top of food rather than mixing it into liquid because when it gets wet the pork smell gets stronger. I really like this product because it is quick & easy to feed my dog when I don't have as much time to cook & prepare actual pork meat/skin for him to eat.

Overall great taste. I didn't even add it to their food, I just dumped it in their bowls and they went to town. PROS---------- 1. Great taste, my cats loved it and licked it up 2. You can give it to them as is or sprinkle it on their food. It's a powder, which I did not understand until I opened the package 3. Long shelf life 4. Individual packets so when you open the package, the rest will stay fresh CONS--------- 1. No real directions 2. Confusing lack of information or claims. No information on how it works. No claims of why it might work. 3. Just two ingredients are listed. I expected more or a blurb why that ingredient may be beneficial. It's a nice enough product but the lack of information on the packaging does not inspire confidence.

it looks like a powder and is made from pork. my cats don't really have allergies but they absolutely love the taste of this stuff so that's a win! There is science behind this product so i am inclined to think it will at least help general immune system.
