Fantastic rod for the 60$ price point. I have used and abused this rod for mostly bank striper fishing and it has held up well to some abuse over the last few months. It has landed some monsters ranging up to 30-40” with no issues. I don’t think the longevity is there it definitely has degraded over time from heavy use, but you can’t expect too much at the 60$ sale price. I honestly would not pay 100$ for this as I think there are better options at that price point but for 60$ it’s a phenomenal value. It is very well balanced, the action is OK and it bends pretty well with no issues for me thus far other than some small chunks of foam that came out of the handle. Ultimately, it’s hard not to like this rod for the sale price considering all the nice fish I’ve landed. These photos are just some of the biggest ones, there have been many others. ... show more

I was a little concerned the cardboard container this arrived in had a slight bend and crack at the bottom of the container, after close inspection the rod wrapped in bubble wrap in 3 sections, the bent container had no damage to the rod 😓 the rod seems to be a well built rod in heavy fast action 7’3” 👍🏽👍🏽 ... show more

Rod itself is great, but amazons packaging and delivery of it was terrible. Wrapped in a thin layer of plastic, with 3rd and 4th eyelet from top bent all the way flat to the rod itself. Go get this rod, just get it somewhere else where it won’t be handled like a newspaper delivery

Used it 2 times and set the hook and it snapped in half. It was on sale. I assume a batch must have been damaged maybe the ones that aren’t on sale are of normal quality
