My wife says they look like a soggy diaper in the wind, but I think they look cool. They are by FAR the most comfortable style of pants I own. Breezy in the wind, stretchy, and wonderful. Great for lounging around the house, parkour, karate, exercise, or pajama day at work. I love these pants. As a 6 foot tall man, they are not quite long enough to bunch around my ankles, but they make good baggy capri pants as well as shorts if you tuck up the ankle band.     • YARD WORK MUST HAVE
Live out in a cleared wooded area. Yard work is not your average mow the grass pick up sticks and trim a hedge. There is a lot to do and there are a lot of hazards I'm the way of you doing it (hidden hornet nests, snakes, and other things). So my preferred method of tank top, shorts and flip.flops are not really a good idea to wear out there (learned it the hard way). I looked online at this pair, and others from amazon and could not make a decision so I bought a few here and there to try and see. These ones won. They don't tear when you slide off the mower sweat soaked and nasty (thank God live away from people or my bare ass be visible to all in the other brands I purchased). They stay away from my body nicely and allow for the air to pass buy. They are elastic not only in the waist but on the ankles as well (a MUST when dealing with hidden hornets). Not saying they are sting proof (not tested that and hopefully won't have to) but they will not allow for those mean buggers to climb up somewhere they not suppose to be. The pockets are nice but since they only have an elastic waist you cannot put to much in them before they want to fall down (my phone alone after awhile tends to make them slip down). They are not silky soft like the other ones out there, but they won't tear when you put them on nor when you actually use pants how you are suppose to (not treat them as an infant that needs protection from everything). They are not ugly but I don't see you winning a fashion award anytime soon with them. They just are good pants that seem to be as tough as Jean's but a fraction of their weight. These are a must have for yardwork. My only wish is that they were a little longer. Stop at a little above my ankles and sometimes come out of my boots. ... show more

Bought these to introduce my hubby to the joy of breezy pants based on reviews. The fabric is rough, and see-through if you hold it to the light (both layers). They feel hot and not breathable at all. I washed them hoping they'd get softer, but they didn't. Should have just returned them. I got the one size: 5'8" 155 lbs, and he got the XL: 6'1" 200 something- I don't actually know. For real, these are some of the most comfy pants I have ever worn. Now granted, I am an amply curvy, plus sized gal who experiences quite a bit of chub rub (hah, that phrase is hysterical!) But, if you wear these with some boy shorts, they are some of the best lounging pants around, and the chafing won't be a problem. I wear them pretty high up, so if you don't have a smaller waist to booty ratio, these may be out of your size range. However, it IS possible to remove the elastic and refit the drawstring if needed. You will need some sewing know-how, though, so if that's too much work, there ARE properly plus-size harem pants elsewhere. For me however, these are a rough cotton that is the perfect thickness, with a cute-as-heck print, that sit on my proper waist just fine without fitting awkwardly. Bravo. I am gonna need more pants of this style, now. Bonus for the crafty: once these get worn to shreds, patching them up is going to make them look even cooler. ... show more

Let me tell something. I am a harem pants connoisseur; I've worn then daily for several years, and purchased several pairs from many different companies. I bought 2 pair from this company, the grey and the blue, and I am BLOWN AWAY. Let's start with the fabric. The patterns are lovely, more elegant than the patterns I've seen on most other pants in this style. It's of a heavier weight, so that tearing or wearing thin wont be an issue like many other pants I've worn. These will hold up in the washer/dryer, and every day wear for A LONG time. The fabric isnt THICK though. Trust me, I live in southern Florida, and they arent HOT. They're heavyweight, breathable, sturdy material in elegant patterns. Next, let's review the shipping process. What more can I say than they shipped within 3 days WITHOUT Prime, were folded neatly and packaged very well, they came with a little bracelet and a note. So cute. Plus there wasnt any strange smells that sometimes accompany clothing deliveries. Next, the cost. I typically pay upwards of $30-$50 for a pair of harem pants, and the patterns are boastful and a little juvenile, and the quality of the fabric leaves a lot to be desired from these other companies that I've bought from. THIS company has all these wonderful things I've mentioned, PLUS a very wide variety of patterns and colors, and the price is outstanding.
