I bought 3 of these, 2 were for Christmas presents for my daughters. During Christmas I ad left the dome light on overnight in my car and had to borrow my daughters gift to get my car started. It was still fully charged after a month and a half stored waiting for Christmas. The hard case is what makes me the happiest. I have other jump packs that have cloth bags and it’s a pain to get the clamps back inside the bag. This is a great kit.

Price is good. Comes fully charged but used it 3x’s in one hour to start a vehicle and it went to 55% and had to be charged. It is good for emergencies if you came out and your battery was dead, so to get you started and heading home so it is in my emergency kit. The terminal clamps only open sofar just to grab a piece of the terminal but don’t grip hard and feel cheeply made. I had it on the charger for one hour and 15 min. For the last 15min it would not go over 99% so not sure if the charge is complete. It comes 100% but then must trickle down.

I was skeptical about it being to little charging a car battery. I had a battery that was dead for a month. It took a few tries to get my vehicle to crank but any time after that, it cranked right on up. The only time it didn't was because the box wasn't charged enough.

I bought this booster in July 2022. After the first couple of times I used it to jump-start a car, the booster recharged to 100%. Then, when I used it a couple of more times, at first it would only charge to 91%, then to 69% (I nursed it up to 71%), and then to 54%. Since I was past the Amazon return window, I contacted the manufacturer and got a response that I needed to contact Amazon. After some frustration on the support chat. a representative from the customer concern team called me. Long story short - I was offered a "courtesy" return with a restocking fee that turned out to be a few dollars more than a protection plan would have cost. Lesson learned, buy the protection plan. I'll now order a similär product from a different manufacturer.
