This luggage rack is poorly manufactured and the instructions are almost illegible. The instructions also do not have directions, only pictures, and they're not very clear. The screws that are intended to attach the side rails to the plastic brackets were the wrong size and we had to spend $10 on some bolts and drill some holes just to insure it would hold together. I've used these crossbars with a large roof rack on a 2014 Ford Explorer and they've worked great! I used it on a 3200+ mile roadtrip and on several shorter trips from camping to family trips and they've worked extremely well with no issues. I would highly recommend these.

The DNA Motoring RR-HCRV12 fits perfectly and was easy to install with some wrist and elbow power. It is pretty sturdy and doesn't shake or feels lose once installed. The only issue I have with the bars is that now when I drive I can hear the wind howling at me once I get to speeds above 60km/h. The faster I go the louder it gets. Reminds me of the sound the wind makes durring storms or hurricanes. Overall great product less the sound. ... show more

We drove over 3,000 miles on a road trip and these held up every inch of the way. They never came loose. I highly recommend using a torque wrench to install these. That’s the safest guarantee that these will hold up.
