The rails didn't fit, but Amazon gave me a partial refund to cover the cost of the correct rails. The box itself was great. Good quality locks. Took a 3500 mile road trip with no issues.

Overall this is a great purchase, I gave 4 stars due to the mounting u-bolts were extremely too long. I was able to cut them down and make it work, the lid doesn’t have a rubber seal around it so I put black foam tape where the bottom meets the top and it did awesome on our 12 hour drive each direction. ... show more

I road trip and now only the rear latch of this box latches. No matter what I do, even with the box empty, the latches will not grab and end up passing the front and middle. Took 2 people to work on it and still couldn't get it to work. 800 miles away and we were about to be stuck holding our breath the top wouldn't fly off doing 70 down the interstate. Finally after 30 minutes of working on it we got it to latch by twisting the lid and sides until it bit. That is a lot of work for the money, just saying. ... show more

    • POS rails- screws stripped first time tightening them

Never ever used it for a road trip bc I couldn’t tighten the rails down due to the stripped screws. The box is fine but the rails legitimately don’t work. I tried to return but was outside the 30 day window. Don’t even waste your time on this product

The bolts that basically hold the thing down were stripped. 450$ and came w stripped screws....amazon did however credit my cc 100$. Had to buy new cross bars....container is however well made and sturdy
