I ordered a cheaper version from EBAY and had to send it back. Was an inaccurate size and made of plastic. These are sturdy aluminum rails and support brackets that you need to adequately attach a roof storage system to. You get what you pay for, and this was well worth the price. Please note that I think all of these types of roof racks have substantial wind noise when they are installed. It is a common problem.

This does not fit an Audi Q5. I tried the adjustment screws under the rubber seal on top and it still did not fit. I mean I forced it in but the plastics housing warped and would not close.

Solid Racks, Very Sturdy and Look Good. Installation was straightforward, no instructions but look for the arrows and, for my car, one was slightly longer than the other because that's how my roof is shaped (2018 Infinity QX60). Confusing extra washers, double what I needed and could not determine where they would logically go. Also one hole in the mounting bracket didn't perfectly align to the roof rail, but (as others have said) you initially install everything very loosely, and then once in place - tighten it down all that the end. That worked for me. Good racks, we took fully loaded w skis/snowboard up to Tahoe twice now, through harsh conditions, no problems at all. Recommend.

Just installed on 2019 QX60! Great product, no major issues with the installation. Haven't tested it on a trip yet but will soon. Surprised at a couple of bad reviews. I almost did not buy because of them but all other products did not have prime shipping and I needed it quickly. The bad reviewers either truly received defective units or, more likely, tightened the bolts too soon. There were no instructions. They are not necessary but may have saved me a few minutes. 1. The longer bar goes to the front. The parts are not interchangeable but are clearly labeled RL, RR, FL, and FR (rear/front/left/right). 2. Do not tight the bar bolts to the holders. That's probably why the other reviewers had issues. 3. Washers. This is the tricky part. First, I did not bolt in the front bar correctly because I put the washers first, i.e., bolt - washer - holder - car). You supposed to, I think, go Bolt - Holder - washer - car. The washers fit perfectly in the holder wholes BUT it is hard to hold them in place and I lost a couple of washers that fell into the rail (can't get them out). I appreciated that there were at least 10 extra washers (and a small black self-taping screw - no idea what for) or I just did not install them correctly. All in all, less than an hour to install and over $200 cheaper than the OEM bars. Cheers! ,

We purchased these crossbars for a 12 hour roadtrip where we needed additional storage. We did not end up fastening anything to them but we did install. They look good on my QX60 but they were a real challenge to install. There were NO directions included. We had to guess. We finally got them installed and were ok except for the last screw. The last screw was impossible and we could not get it all the way in, then it stripped so no way to get it out. We lost several washers in the installation process as well, were very hard to install. If you are not handy do not get these.

Easy installation and they seem pretty durable. Other users complained about noise, but they’re quiet for me. I think the trick is installing them in the right direction - fat side to the front.
