This is drone I have been waiting for !!!! The video quality impressive for a little drone. This is so easy and simple to fly. You don't know a remote control. You can fly it from your phone or by changing the settings on the drone it self. Love all the automatic flight modes and especially the directional track for my running content . I have yet to crash it, but by the way it looks, this drone seems to be durable. I like how the camera is tucked in and basically protected by the propell guards. The battery life is amazing. I managed to fly it for almost 25 mins on a single charge. But I was able to get a good deal right before Christmas and got 2 batteries and the drone for $307 which was an incredible deal. I’ve been using the DJI Flip for a couple of weeks now, and opting for the two-battery combo with the standard RC-N3 remote (the one without the built-in screen) was absolutely the right move for my budget and workflow. If you want high-quality drone footage without carrying a massive gear bag, this setup hits the perfect sweet spot. The auto power-on feature when you unfold the arms is a total game-changer, allowing me to go from having it in my jacket pocket to launching it directly off my palm in about 15 seconds. For someone who likes shooting close-up tracking shots in tight spaces and around trees, the full-coverage foldable propeller guard gives massive peace of mind, and the fact that it folds up right along with the drone makes it incredibly portable. Video quality is stunning because the 1/1.3-inch sensor punches way above its weight, delivering 4K/60fps HDR footage that looks incredibly crisp with surprisingly clean low-light performance during sunset. While the premium controller with the built-in screen looks cool, I actually prefer using my smartphone with the standard remote because the DJI Fly app runs flawlessly, it saves me a chunk of cash, and I don't have to worry about charging a separate screen. The single-battery version of this drone just isn't enough flight time once you factor in setup and getting your framing right. Having two batteries gives me about an hour of total flight time, which is plenty for a full day of casual vlogging and capturing travel b-roll. There are just a couple of minor things to keep in mind before buying. Because it is designed to be under 249 grams to avoid strict registration rules, it can get pushed around a bit in heavy winds, though the gimbal does a stellar job keeping the actual footage perfectly stable. Additionally, depending on the exact retail bundle, this two-battery option sometimes requires you to charge the batteries one by one inside the drone via USB-C, so you might want to pick up a separate charging hub if you hate waiting. Great drone and an excellent value for the money. It’s easy to fly, the footage is impressive, and the build quality feels solid. I can confirm that it’s pretty sturdy — I’ve accidentally knocked it into a few things while learning, and it handled it without any real issues. I’m flying it with the RC-N3 remote controller, which makes it much easier and more precise than flying from a phone alone. The clip I attached was filmed along the coast in some wind, and the stabilization handled it really well. I was comfortable flying it after just a few flights. I have a 4K drone that is truly impressive—it flies very fast and can go quite far. But, being a bit old school, I wasn't sure how to take full advantage of all its features. According to reviews, this one should be easier to use, so I was hopeful. When it arrived, I tried to connect the 4K mini remote, but I couldn't figure out how. The drone blinked and flashed some LED lights back at me, leaving me a bit puzzled. I set it aside in the corner, feeling unsure of what to do next, especially since my grandkids are a bit scared of it—my 4K mini had startled them before. About two weeks later, the seller, “Aerotech Hub,” reached out to check in. I shared my frustrations, but they were very professional and apologized for the tiny instructions, which no one can seem able to read. They then explained to me step-by-step how to connect the drone to my phone and access all its features. Suddenly, I felt like a kid again! It can do so many amazing things, just like on the website. The follow-me feature is incredibly impressive—I couldn't even outrun it on my bike! The 'Go Home' function works perfectly, unlike my 4K mini. The camera captures stunningly clear and smooth videos and photos. The battery lasts nearly 30 minutes, which is fantastic. Although the flight range is a bit shorter than my 4K mini I don’t mind too much since I can see the drone with my own eyes. Plus, I no longer need my son’s help to bring it back home because could not locate on the sky and have no idea where it is other than one dot in the sky.. Overall, it's a wonderful purchase—I’m very happy with it, and so is the seller. By the way, if anyone know how to use follow me function to capture the front instead of my back. 😀 ... show more
