Description

Season after season, the 1550 Arctix Youth Snow Bib Overalls serve as an outstanding value priced snow bib and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable comfort suspenders provide the perfect fit with elasticized side gussets for maximum motion. The boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable.

It bib has a zipper up vest-like chest with attached pants that has both a front zipper and adjustable tabs at the shoulders shoulders. The full chest front and back is great for adding an extra layer of warm that she cant take off - she is always taking her jacket off when she gets moving and this way I know she is still well insulated. They fit my daughters (10 & 12yo) great - they have a thinner profile than her old pair yet are just as warm if not a bit warmer - gotta love the progress in synthetic fabrics. They are really waterproof - she can sit on the snow for a long time and not get any water thru the fabric. They are also very warm in windy conditions. They look nicer and are less bulky so she can move around easily. The pockets and D-ring are great - makes it easy to keep her gloves clipped on and she can keep her phone with her. The elastic at the boot is snug and able to secure to her boots to keep snow out and warmth in. They are machine washable and wash well with no warping, fraying or fading. He's very destructive so I was worried these wouldn't last long when he got them for Christmas however he's wanting them almost every day since he got them and still no holes it's now March. I was surprised how well this kept my son dry in the snow. It was fairly inexpensive and worked very well! However, my son is 12, about 5'4" and 100lbs. The XL size was listed as 18/20 and it fit him perfectly.

Well after she was inside and they hung up for a while I went to move them and there was a gallon of water in the rolled cuff with everything else bone dry! Really good quality!!! These are some well crafted snow bibs! My wild-child 5 year old has gone through at least 3 pairs this season, but these ones seem to be much more durable and clean up much better than the previous brands we’ve tried so far. High quality, and he says they keep him nice and warm!

These snow pants are great! My 5 year old son wears them every day at recess and they keep him dry, comfortable, and warm. They have yet to tear, rip, or have any issues. They fit true to size. They also launder easily. We absolutely would recommend.
