Very thick, heavy magnetic piece that adheres very strongly. I had to cut one piece smaller which was easy with standard scissors. Stops all airflow. Highly recommend.

I live in a 1960s older mobile home that no longer has a furnace. This means that the floor vents are absolutely pointless. However, during the winter, I have noticed that the cold air comes up from the vents so I needed to find a solution quickly. I came across these and thought why not. I was pleasantly surprised that they cling onto the vents and seal them up very well. I have noticed a substantial difference in the temperature control. It is easier to keep my home warm and now that I have utilized these. They are not too thick and sit pretty close to the ground once placed on top of the vents. The quality is great and the value of them is immeasurable. Definitely one of those things that help to also keep out creepy crawlies. I am telling you the seal is that great on these. The best thing is that I can easily remove them when I need to sweep or mop my floor. Also, they wipe clean with ease.

Not quite strong enough to hold when the vent is blowing. I got these due to having a rental with vents that can't close. These come flying off whenever the vent is blowing. They are perfect for any other situation- I've made some fridge magnets by putting stickers on them and cutting them out.

The half bath on the first floor gets too cold with the AC on in the summer. With this I can completely close the vent and it stays closer to the temperature of the rest of the house. The magnet is strong enough to work even though the vent is on the ceiling. All in all no complaints.
